When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Sorry to hear kitty. If you
Sorry to hear kitty. If you just want to give us a little about what brings you here, that would be fine too. Or, just come back and do it again later. I know what it is like to lose text!

Also perhaps a phone consultation with Christine will help you.

Will try again, but shorter version
Thank you first for this forum and being able to see that I am not alone. I found out just a couple weeks ago I have a bladder prolapse. I am 61 and have been through menopause. I have all my organs except for my appendix taken out at age 5. I try to avoid Dr.'s at all cost and I have been and am into alternative medicine and therapies. My Dr. who is a male alternative/MD did a pelvic exam and told me I had a cystole, he thinks it is a stage 1. I have felt a bit different down there for over a month now so I knew something was up. My concern was about the exercises. I have a bad bad from a car accident and my chiro does NOT want me crossing my legs in any way so sitting Indian style is out for me. I also have knee issues. Is there exercises to do along with the posture for me? I have been "working" on the posture (a bit hard to do and feels different as I know my body is not use to the "correct" posture). I went back a couple days ago for my blood work results and all was good except the "glucose" and I am CLOSE to being pre diabetic so I need to lose weight as I am overweight. My BP has been up the last few times I have gone so he has put me on a low dose of BP meds (was pretty upset about that) as natural things I was doing was not doing the trick.) He feels when I start losing weight I will be able to get off it. I have felt so let down by my body as I have a couple other issues going on, but I know that I am the one that has caused the problem with my weight. I have on and off all my life have had problems with constipation. I feel a bad issue I had with it about 2 to 3 months ago, may have caused this prolapse to finally give way, as I pushed and pushed for several hours. I bought a squatty potty the other day and used it once and realized it is NOT what I want to use for a prolapse. It is going to have to be returned. I have had 2 vaginal births naturally. They were both hard labor and both posterior so it was long for both also. Well, that is my story. Hoping to get more answers.......Thank you

Hi kitty,
Hi kitty,
You can do some of the exercises sitting in a chair, so what may seem difficult for you with your knees and hip can be modified easily. The basics really involve breathing deeply into your belly, so focus on that. Also, whole woman walking can be a tremendous benefit, working on all those posture principles as you go along.
You may also want to look into Christine's hips book and DVD as it may have some pointers and information that may benefit your particular issues. Not sure how much your surgeries have affected your mobility, so take this all slowly and cautiously. A consult with a whole woman practitioner may also be helpful; one of them might have even better tips for you.
Yea, good call on the squatty potty. If you look it up on the forum here, you will find that it is not a useful tool. Christine has some great information about toileting in her work that you should look into. Very helpful stuff!
Constipation can really be a problem when it comes to prolapse, so getting that under control is important. I had it for years, and when I started working on whole woman, I also did a lot of research on better dietary changes as well. Get all the processed stuff out of your diet as possible; it can be very binding. Include lots of fresh fruits and veg, and fermented foods; these really help in rebuilding the natural bacteria in the gut which in turn helps everything run more smoothly. It's a process of trying things that work for you, but in the end is well worth it.
Best wishes to you.

Thanks Aging Gracefully
Thanks for the comment, but just to clarify, I have not had ANY surgeries except for appendix when I was 5. I am sure my knee problem is from the weight and isn't helping the back much, but I have a herniated disc well under control with my Chiro. I did get the posture and toileting videos and the healing the vagina I think it's called. So trying to get what I can right now and try to do my best. :)

Oops, sorry I misread that
Oops, sorry I misread that part. Yes, the discs can be a problem, but just take this work slowly and gently. Sounds like you are off to a good start.
