When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Hi nacy and welcome to Whole
Hi nacy and welcome to Whole Woman. By now perhaps you have had a chance to look around the site, and get an idea of what this work is all about - stabilizing and even reversing prolapse through natural posture, exercise and other tools Christine has developed. It has helped thousands of women manage prolapse safely and joyfully without dangerous surgery, and has benefits far beyond prolapse management. Just to get you going, please watch this:

The video
The Video recommended to nacy by surviving60 is really informative. I am always motivated by Christine to get things right as far as posture is concerned. Thank you

getting the uterus back where it belongs
I suddently thought if it is actually of any importance what degree of uterine prolapse I suffer from. What would you say?
I read that you have to get the uterus inside behind the pubic bone in order to be able to benefit
from the pressure induced by the natural breath. I can push my uterus up but it just drops down again.
I often find myself breathing superficially up in the chest, probably stress-related. I imagine that this
doesn't help pin the uterus in the correct position either.

Hi pompom,
Hi pompom,
Have you been doing jiggling and firebreathing on a regular basis? That helps me tremendously, especially on very symptomatic days.

I haven't done firebreathing regularly - I'll get back to it.
Thanks

Pessary works great
My physician recommended a pessary for my uterine prolapse. I was fitted 6 weeks ago and figured out how to remove the darn thing and insert it. It works great. Anything but surgery! I don't have to return to doctor until my yearly physical in December. I have a ring pessary with support. I occasionally have lower back pain but is a small price to pay. I'm trying to eat better to avoid constipation. I am very happy with the pessary.

Hi Siobhan and welcome,
Hi Siobhan and welcome,
You may also want to look into the Whole Woman Work which not only helps with prolapse, but also our hips and spine. The whole woman posture is the key to these improvements for our bodies.
Just start at the tool bat above and check into this very important work.

Pessary
For the benefit of other readers, I will point out here that pessaries can relieve symptoms for some, but over time they have a tendency, if anything, to worsen prolapse - especially rectocele (can aggravate or even trigger new onset). That being said, the ring-with-support is the least likely to cause these problems because in proper position it allows the vagina to stay fairly closed and flattened. - Surviving
