When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Use of HRT
Hi Jomama51
It's been three days since you posted, and I am surprised that nobody has replied. I can only think that might be because not many have tried it, though I find that hard to believe.
Sorry, I can't help you either. I am still in full swing with periods, but not far behind you, I feel. So I will be interested too, in any replies you get. I am wondering what sort of effects you think might happen? I know that a couple of the things that happen for me is a very dry vagina for most of the month, and pre-menstrual constipation, so I am hoping that when the periods stop, so might the two weeks a month of sore boobs, and the constipation. However, lady luck being as she is, there will probably be some other minor annoying symptom develop. Anyway, I guess I will be keeping the manufacturers of vaginal lubricant and bran in business for the next couple of decades at least. Maybe I should just buy shares? As the baby boomers expect to live longer than any other previous generation, maybe it will be a growing market?
The other thing is that we consumers are very good at thinking that if we eat or drink a magic pill or potion, it will solve our current body difficulty. However, I think that often it is just as effective to save those dollars for good champagne and good chocolate, particularly when we are talking predominantly physical health conditions like prolapses. It is probably best just to do the hard yards; get serious about permanently changing the posture, food, sitting spaces, clothing etc, and just find better ways to simply be who we are, how we are ... then savour the champagne and chocolate!
Hope we get some answers. I would love to be proved wrong.
Cheers
Louise

my experience with HRT
Hi, The reason I did not reply right away to your post is that I can't back anything I say with scientific facts--only from my personal experience with HRT. My doctor persuaded me that was the only way to go--this was in the early 1990s when HRT promised all sorts of benefits to women that have since then been disproved. Had I known then what I now know I would never had gone on HRT. I would have lived through my hot flashes (which I no longer experience) and avoided the extra bleeding caused by the HRT. The point where I refused to take anymore (almost six years later) was having to have a hysteroscopy to see why I was bleeding--it was never heavy, thank goodness, more staining of panties and very annoying as I never knew when it would happen. I have been very glad to be off! By then I was seeing someone for acupuncture and also a naturopathic doctor who eased the remaining few hot flashes that I had. I cannot imagine HRT would help with rectocele. The decision has to be yours, though. Good luck sorting through it all!!!

HRT
Thanks for the reply somer. I have heard and read that HRT or an HRT vaginal cream may assist post-menopausal women by providing estrogen to the pelvic floor, which may in turn bulk up the pelvic floor. I am also experiencing difficulty with sleeping and hot flashes. I thought I would at least try it to see if if helps at all, and was interested in the bio-identical hormones - which I don't know much about at this point in time.

Hi MenoMonster - I think you
Hi MenoMonster - I think you're just spamming us, but if you actually want to discuss HRT, you will find lots of discussion threads using the search box. If you can't find what you want, feel free to ask specific questions. - Surviving
