PROLAPSE AND WHOLE WOMAN EXERCISE

Body:

I AM NEW TO THE FORUM AND WOULD LIKE YOUR SUGGESTIONS.........I HAVE BEEN READING THE BOOK AND DOING THE WHOLE WOMANPOSTURE AND EXERCISES..............I HAVE A DR APPT THIS AFTERNOON AND AM FEARFUL SHE WILL SAY I NEED SURGERY..I DO NOT WANT SURGERY......MY QUESTION TO YOU IS THIS:: DO YOU THINK MY UTERINE PROLAPSE WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE BACK TO THE PELVIC FLOOR WHERE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE BY DOING THE POSTURE AND EXCERISES?
THANK YOU........

Hi healing with passion,
I have a severely prolapsed uterus and there is no doctor that is going to talk me into surgery, and the reason I have such confidence is because of my extensive study and work with Whole Woman. Besides that, It's your body; the doctor can only suggest surgery, you are the one who decides what you want.
Keep studying the work, and keep working on that posture. It's this work that will give you the confidence to get you where you want to be with all this.

Yes surely, the whole women programs are research based and carefully designed. The posture exercises are helpful in improving prolapsed uterus.

Bane,
What brings you here?

Thank you for the encouragement................that in itself makes one feel better.

Dear women with pelvic issues,
it is Healing with passion that I know we can heal ourselves..........BUT THE BIG PASSION FOR ME IS TALKING TO ALL OF YOU AND RECEIVING YOUR GENEROUS TIME AND ADVICE....THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR EVERYTHING,,,,,,,,,AND PLEASE KEEP WRITNG IN HERE.

I AM GOING TO DISNEY THIS MORNING WITH MY HUSBAND AND I FEEL MY PROLAPSE ALMOST OUT.......BUT I WAS WONDERING UNTIL I EITHER GET A PESSERY OR NOT, THERE IS ANY THING ELSE I COULD INSERT AS A PESSARY, LIKE A TAMPON? SORRY IF I SOUND SILLY BUT I AM SO NEW TO THIS. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

DEAR BANE,
THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICE AS I NEED IT.

I had a hysterectomy 1982. Have cystocele and rectocele. Will this program help the rectocele post hysterectomy?

Hi cremick - Post-hyst provides more challenges, and it will largely depend upon how much vaginal length remains, so that the vagina still has the ability to flatten against intra-abdominal pressure and keep the remaining organs out of that space. You also have to be more aware of types of exercise that might compromise sutures. Previous "repair" procedures would also be a factor. But if you can train yourself to hold the remaining organs forward in the belly, working gently so as not to overtax the spine and hips (which do undergo changes after hyst) you might see some results! Christine has a post-hysterectomy series you should consider. - Surviving

HEALING WITH PASSION

Hi healing with passion,
I truly believe that food is our best medicine, so eating a clean diet with sugar and processed foods at a minimum is optimal for all over body health, as well as giving our ligaments, tissues, and muscles the best nutrients they need to help us along.
The pessary is a personal choice; just be aware that it does also have its drawbacks by keeping the vagina open when it should be a closed airless space, and it can cause some sore spots from rubbing on the vaginal wall. Women have used other things, such a tampons, sea sponges, etc., but they all have their individual drawbacks.

p.s. Thanks for explaining the use of all caps. That makes sense.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR READING WHY I NEED TO USE CAPS.(CANT SEE WELL) TO AGING GRACEFULLY, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE FOUND A FRIEND BECASUE YOU SEEM TO "GET ME" ALSO GLAD YOU SPOKE ON THE PESSARY...........I DO NOT THINK THAT IS FOR ME..... I TRY TO EAT WELL BUT I DO GRAB A HANDFUL OF M AND M'S DAILY AS I JUST LOVE THEM. YES, AS A NUTRITIONIST I KNOW SUGAR IS A POISON............AS AN AGING WOMAN, I KNOW I ENJOY SOME SWEETS AND CHOOSE TO EAT THEM.
