When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

restrictive clothing
I'm confused about this belt. In your book you warn against tight clothing. How does this belt avoid causing the same problems?

If you have seen the photos
If you have seen the photos/videos and read the description of the belt, you will know that the belt is worn high in back, and low in front (not restricting the belly in any way). - Surviving

Posture belt arrived
My posture belt arrived today:-). It's been six weeks since I found WW and I will be forever thankful!! My cystocele is becoming less of a discomfort and as long as I stay in posture and take time to exercise then it is showing up later and later into the day.
I love this forum, I search and read up on all sorts of topics after putting my toddler to bed- it's like a retreat for me.

posture belt
Is the posture belt ok for a woman who has had a hysterectomy, and has the beginning of vaginal vault prolapse, but is wearing a pessary that is keeping it from getting worse? I'm waiting until the last minute to order it.

I ordered a belt , but it has
I ordered a belt , but it has been a week and haven't gotten it yet. My order is on hold and I can't get a response from the company. Do they have to make each belt as the orders come in or what???

As I understand it, following the initial promotion which ended a few days ago, the factory began working on the first big order. Only a limited number of samples exist at this time. Not sure why you were expecting it so soon. All things in good time! - Surviving

posture belt order
hi northern,
an update on the belts...
when we had samples made, we got a few extras and sent out belts to the forum moderators, WW conference attendees, and a small number or customers and friends. they have not been released to the general public.
the free shipping offer was clearly described in the emails and on the website and in the store. we were assembling the first production run. the offer was to prepay for the belt in exchange for free shipping. the belts are in production and we expect delivery in early to mid december. if the plant completes and ships batches to us earlier, of course we will ship those out right away to customers, oldest orders first, depending on what sizes they send us. so no guarantees on that. but they have been reliable in their scheduling with us so i expect them to get this order to us on time.
sorry for any confusion, but we've been very clear about this from the beginning.
i'm a bit behind on responding to customer service requests. dealing with some technology issues on the store that created a lot of headaches for customers during this product launch. i should be caught up by monday or tuesday at the latest. thanks for your patience and understanding.
all the best,
lanny (christine's DH)

I finally received my belt
I finally received my belt and it is very well made but I definitely cannot wear it at work as I planned, with all the movements of standing, bending and sitting , etc, it just doesn't have enough (give) to it. It is too stiff but, I wear it at home. I will have to find something else that helps but has some stretch but support also.
thank you.

posture belt
The Posture Belt is really a brace. In my opinion the only back brace that is ever truly needed because once the pelvis is held in its natural position, the rest of the spine follows.
It really is a helper to tip you into the posture, so hopefully you can hold that natural alignment when you take it off. The instant on and off closure was necessary for ease of wear, so that is why the sizing must be so exact. The WW Supporter is more adjustable.
The WW Posture Belt is intended to be worn for long walks and times when your back feels weak - when you need the spine supported in this natural way. It was never intended to be worn for long periods of time, but rather a way to help you strengthen your spine. I created it during a time when my husband broke his back, and my lower back became weak from all the emotional stress (and lifting a 6 1/2-foot-tall man in and out of the bathtub!) during his long recovery. My own experience proved to me that the belt is just what is needed to protect and support the lower back in WW Posture.

posture belt
I would like to add my own experience here. I had no plans of wearing my posture belt at work....I have a decent desk chair and I'm up and down all day - and I'm far enough along in this work that I don't need much posture help during the workday. And the belt can't really be worn under my typical workday wardrobe (my clothes aren't tight in the sense of impeding posture, but they don't allow for the belt).
It is during my non-working hours that I am most susceptible to falling out of posture, slouching at a less-than-ideal work table or moving around in the kitchen or caring for my mom. At this point I have typically changed clothes and donned the belt and it feels wonderful and supportive. When spring returns I will be wearing it on walks, but I'm not taking those at the moment, sadly.
Northerngranny, you will find many opportunities to enjoy and benefit from this belt, as you go throughout your day, and as you become more and more immersed in the principles of the Whole Woman work. Keep using it! - Surviving
