Saving Posts & other generic items

Body:

I have some generic process questions/suggestions about the website in general:
- is it possible to "save" posts? If I read a post that is of special interest to me, I copy and paste it into a text file. If I could save it to "my account", then I could go to "my account" and see the posts when I needed to reference them. Anybody else think this would be useful? I have no idea what that means in terms of programming, but just something I noticed would help me, so I wanted to throw it out there to see what others think...
- how do I go back to the wholewoman.com website once I click the Forum link? Back button does not work and I do not see a link. If I want to go back to "main page" after getting into the Forum, I always have to retype the address.
- I see "Add Hyperlink" buttons on the screen. Nothing happens if I click on them. What are these buttons for? I cannot move them or anything and sometimes they appear right on top of text...

Thx. Grace

Hi Grace

I share your frustration.

1. I think saving them as a text file (or Word doc) is a great idea. I do this. It also means that you have your favourite documents saved off the Forum, so if the Forum collapses or something drastic happens in the management of it, you don't lose them. This happened some time ago when the site was changed, and all the threads containing hyperlinks just disappeared for ever. Unfortunately mo Members had saved any of them offline, so they were all lost. Also if you have a slow dialup connection like I do, you have them instantly available offline on your hard drive.
2. If you can't go back with the Back button I would guess it means that the Forum has opened in a new Window, so you just need to find that other Window in your task bar. The other alternative if you are a Windows user is to click on the drop down arrow on the right of the URL window. If you have visited the other site the same day you can click on it from there. Another trick is to find it in your History (sites visited today).
3. The Hyperlink button doesn't work for me either. I know Christine has a list of things to improve on the site. I will copy these ideas into an email, once there are a few more replies, and she can add them to the already long list for the technical people to address.
Custom Web design is expensive, I know.

Cheers
