When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

UTI
Hi Robin
Something close to my heart (see my post entitled "Irritable Urethra"). I have had a few in my time. The telltale signs are urgency, discomfort or a different sensation when urinating, passing little urine after you feel like you are busting. This may go on for several days only just perceptible, then disappear, as mine seems to have done today, or else it gets markedly worse and very painful to urinate at all. You can also get lower abdominal pain. By this time I have found that antibiotics are the only thing that will restore normality. I would suggest that you take B vitamins with your antibiotics and at the end of the antibiotics have a course of high quality probiotics to restore all the good bugs that the antibiotics have killed along with the bad bugs. The other suggestion would be to get a culture (not just a test strip at the doctors surgery) done when you go to the doctor, so you know what bugs are there, and you are on the right antibiotic. Why put your body through more antibiotic treatment than necessary? The other reason is that I have found the symptoms of UTI sometimes mimic thrush. If you have antibiotics at the same time as thrush it often makes the thrush worse, and the whole thing gets really complicated.
There is a heap of stuff on UTI's and other vaginal/vulval infections on the Web, both diagnosis and treatment. These are just my experiences. Don't take them as common to everyone. See your doctor before you get desperate.
Cheers
Louise

UTI
Hi Louise, Your description of the symptoms for UTI gave me a big clue. I trotted off to the doctor with a bottle of my cloudy urine. It tested big time bugs. They did a culture, so I have the right medicine now. The relief has been slow in coming, but coming nonetheless.
Thanks, Teapot

I have used a tincture of Uva Ursi for years when I feel the symptoms of UTI, and if caught in early stages, it seems to eliminate it. But you cannot use it while pg--

herbs for Cystitis and UTI's
Hi
I think i wrote about this elsewhere but antibiotic's are not the "only way out". They typically lead to reduced immunity and repeat infections or follow on vaginal yeast infections..
I got a great bag of herbs from a herbalist which he says cures it no problem and he was right.
here's the ingredients adn the proportions, if you go to a herbalist's you can get these.
1/2 oz cornsilk
1 oz marshmallow
1 oz juniper berry (cut)
1/4 oz buchu leaf
1/4 shatavari root pwor
1/4 oz goldenseal leaf
1 oz couchgrass root
I got these in a herbalist's on the danfort, near the green carrot in toronto canada for those who live there. Shop is called "Thuna" i think.
I'd say they're all easy to get 'cept perhap's the shatavari root, it sounds perhaps native american..
Mine was gone in four day's. Hope you give it a shot and best of luck. Cystitiis is no fun.
x

UTI
Robin here,
What do you know about Clear Tract? It is for UTI. They say it has a dietary sugar that cleanses the urinary tract out. I am just pulling out of the Antibiotic Tunnel that I was unfortunate enough to be in to get rid of my first UTI. So I would like to avoid that again and will take your advice seriously.
