varicose veins

Body:

A bit off topic here but does anyone here have any experience with varicose veins within the labia? I have had one since the delivery of my baby, and although it hasn't caused me any problems until now, it seems worse the past few days. Are varicose veins something which can be safely treated, or are they like prolapse, something which cannot easily be resolved?

I would so appreciate any information!

Thank you.

Have you tried a V2 supporter? This supporter is made for this condition (varicose veins in the labia). I bought mine off of ebay to help with the feelings of heaviness throughout the day due to prolapse. It really helps. I feel almost normal when it is on.

Thanks Annma!

I don't seem to get any feelings of discomfort, it is just a bit swollen. My husband who is actually a vascular ultrasound tech looked last night and said it isn't a varicose vein. (I guess I should have asked him before! :) Don't know what it is as I have had it for ages, may be nothing I guess. Sometimes I get a little paranoid about lumps and bumps these days!
