uterus prolapse or digestion thing?

Body:

Hi

i've been posting here for about a year. (I have a bladder prolapse that hadn't changed much in a year)

But this week i've felt something different very suddently. It feels like a hard cylindrical rock, sort of penis shaped.( hope that's not too much information!)

And it feels as if it's attached from the top of the back wall but it's descended down so that i can feel it about two inches into my vagina.

Really anxious that maybe i've suddenly got my second prolapse. Stay calm, breathe breathe : )

Hoping instead it may be some sort of intestinal issue from the begginning of my ayurveda cleanse thing. Could it be the descending colon. And is this ok - a sort of digestive issue that can resolve itself?

I'd really appreciate any ideas about this.

I was also diagnosed with a mild cystocele several years ago after changing gynocologists. I was unaware that I had even had one until that point. I had a similar experience like yours and went to the doctor only to learn that my cystocele had dropped even lower. That may be your case also. Just have it confirmed by your doctor for your peace of mind. Good luck.

I cannot see how it could be intestinal tissue as that is not that low down (I dont think) From your 'penis shape' description it does sound like uterus... I always tell pepople if you can run your finger right around it like a sausage - It is usually uterus...

Christine will know more than I though

Thank you both so much for replying.

It has dissappeared and must have been something related to the cleanse.. it was quite strange and did have me pretty worried.

Of course i was hoping that my big ayurveda cleanse detox would radically change all my 'cele issues. It didn't. I did pick up some more healthy day to day living tip's but that's about it.

Best wishes

Anne

Perhaps this is what I have. I wrote maybe about having a fiboid tumor. Maybe it's not?
What's the cleanse issue?
I go to the gyno on May 22. Wonder what he has to say this year? Hmm...He is willing to let me go my merry way until I see 'his way of having a hyst', but he still wants to do surgery.

Hi AnneKane,

I am leaning heavily towards believing the detoxing really does help-in more than one way. I think as we progress with changing our habits, i.e., eating healthier, getting away from chemical products, and detoxing, our bodies have a better chance at rejuvenating itself. As with the prolapse, which takes a long time with the posture and diet, other aspects of the body will take a long time, also, mainly because we've spent many years accumulating toxins and it will take a steady disciplined attitude to get rid of them. At least, I do feel this way about myself. I've discovered an overall difference in my body, as a whole, with each day that I continue to incorporate as many ideas, tips, thoughts or modalities in my daily regimen. So don't give up on the cleanses or new things you are doing, just maybe good things are happening that you aren't noticing, yet.

Love,
Grandma Joy

If it was on the back wall... opposite the bladder, then it was likely a poop. :-))

I have felt them through my back vaginal wall and they are indeed... penis shaped. Very normal, although if you are developing some weakness along the back wall that is or will become a rectocyle, I suppose perhaps it may become easier to feel them with your finger. But I don't know. I didn't used to mess around in there before I started having these problems. And yes, you can avoid the hard "penis" with a diet that will keep stools softer.

Hi Suzanne

He can wait ...

Cheers
