When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Don't panic
Hi New
Sorry to hear that you are having to grapple with this at such a young age. I would wait until I had seen the doctor before thinking anything else terrible. S/he will have seen a lot more female genitals than any of us and will be able to clarify it for you.
I dont want to sound as if I am saying you don't know what you are talking about because you may be correct, but it may just be that your uterus is retroverted, so the cervix faces your belly button instead of straight downwards. If so, this is not the end of the world, and it is not the same as a prolapsed uterus. I have had a retroverted uterus since your age (I am now 54), have had three children, four pregnancies, and still have an active and satisfying sex life. It is just not a problem.
You are very wise to be asking the doctor. I hope the visit goes well and will put an end to your worries. Come back and let us know what s/he said. If it is prolapse s/he may suggest surgery. Prolapse is not life threatening and usually does not need surgery in itself, and the need is certainly not urgent. We can help you with more information and support whatever the result of the doctor's visit. Go to www.wholewoman.com and have a look at the FAQ's in the meantime.
Best wishes
Louise

hi new
I think louise gave you some wise advice, don't panic and see a dr to confirm your self-diagnosis
that said, if your cervix is indeed 1.5 inches from the vaginal opening, this is a good time to begin implementing the posture described on this site. If you can, get a copy of christine's book (the second edition) and start the exercises in there.
I have no idea why this happened to you, maybe its related to posture? do you have other health issues? some here have chronic constipation, straining on the toilet can sometimes lead to a prolapse.
regarding fertility, a prolapse doesn't affect fertility.
as far as the surgical 'fix', most of us here have chosen to manage our prolapses naturally so you won't find too many personal accounts.
christine describes in great detail, the types of surgeries that are out there in her book. unfortunately, surgery isn't always a good long term answer as many women end up with additional prolapses and require further surgery.
like louise already said, prolapse is not life threatening, you have all the time you need to learn more about it. you are young and presumably healthy, and from your description, your prolapse sounds very mild. I'd be very optimistic that you could reverse it somewhat with posture, diet and exercise.
