When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

lol @ doctors
They do the same thing with my degenerative disk disease. Regular doctors take an MRI with me flat on my back and then tell me it doesn't look real bad. Then the chiropractor does a simple X-ray (while I'm standing) and says, "look, there is no space between your L-7, S-1."
Or the sacroiliac joint dysfunction... LOOKS FINE on X-ray or MRI... but it's locked tight; immobile. No moving picture MRI yet; they can't even diagnose it. Takes an alternative type doc who actually tries to move the joint around to even figure out what's wrong. Regular doc can't detect lower back excessive rotation compensating for the locked joint.
FUNCTIONALITY PEOPLE. I can't understand why doctors view us as static pictures and not dynamic machines that need to actively FUNCTION.

Your pessary...
I'm encouraged that you are so successful with your pessary and that you even take it out every night. Can you tell me what kind/shape of pessary that you have?

Pessary Should Last
A pessary should last quite a while unless it has a defect. The one I have, I have worn for 1 year now. The previous one I wore for about 3 years. Sometimes you have to get another one because things change down there.
I had to get the one I'm wearing now because the other one became too small and kept falling out.
Regards,
Flora.

What type do you have?
Can you tell me what shapes or types you have tried and what type of prolapse you are using them for? I understand that size is very important. Thanks for any information you can share.

Types of pessary
I am using a donut pessary at this time. My last one was a ring with a shield. I also have tried the ring without the shield, and a gelhorn. The ring without the shield did not hold everthing up. The gelhorn was very good but was extremely difficult to put in and take out.
I have 2nd degree uterine and bladder prolapses.
Size is very important if it is too big it will be uncomfortable and if it is too small it will probably fall out. I don't feel my pessary when it is in. That is the way it is supposed to feel but some people can't wear one.
