When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

First checkup
Hi Grandmajo
That's great and sounds like he is a very reasonable doctor. I think you are on the right track. You might have a few bad days every now and then, but you get used to them and become more confident that they will get better again, and they do. Call back to the Forum if you need more encouragement or need any answers or ideas from other women.
Cheers
Louise

Like Christine said to me a
Like Christine said to me a couple of years ago when I made a similar post about my followup... "yet another pessary success story".
A rule of medicine it seems both doctors and patients all too often forget... first try the conservative, less invasive treatment. How sad 4 out of 5 of his patients refuse to even give it a try.

i got my ring pessary fitted
i got my ring pessary fitted and I thought it would sit at the top of my vagina but before i left the hospital i went into the toilet as i was terrified of it falling out
I did test it with my finger and a quarter of an inch into my vagina could feel the ring
I was in shock and rushed back into the doctor telling her it had fallen out. She then went to examine me and asked for the fallen out ring I said it is still inside me but it has fallen down into my vagina, she then examined me and said that this position was OK and that the ring did this (shock)!!!!!! So up I got and drove home. By the time i got home my rectum was killing me and i felt my vagina was in the grip of a vice, the vice grip eased off but my back end was killing me with the ring giving it pressure and I had problems with the toilet the next morning, it took me 3 days to find a doctor to take it out my own woman doctor wasn't on that day and the man doctor said he couldn't do it.
my back has been a bit sore since down at the middle bottom but I don't know if that was due to the pressure of the ring....... Ive been doing my posture and thank God before i went my cyscotele had been getting better some days not feeling it much at all
Anyway they offered me another pessary after apologising for me having to wait the 3 days it's called a shelf pessary which is supposed to sit at the top of the Vagina and not fall into it, on the UK you are only offered two types
Has anyone else had this problem with the ring pessary?

I haven't had that problem
I haven't had that problem but I have heard of it. I use the doughnut type. Why on earth does the UK not offer more than just two types? What is so hard about a doctor ordering another type for you? Strange.
Anyway, I too was surprised to discover how low the front of the pessary sits. I can locate mine beginning just behind the public bone. I can actually "tuck" it further in if I wish. It is actually holding the bladder up over the public bone where it's supposed to be.
Here is a good website on all the different types of pessaries. You might want to print it out and give it to your doctor and tell them to get with the program. Ha ha.
