When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

If it were me I would go on
If it were me I would go on the trip and plan to ride but reserve the right to not go riding if I don't feel up to it but wish the others to go have fun. Personally... I would probably have no trouble other than needing to wear a pad for bladder leakage and knowing my thighs would hurt like he!! the next day. When I got to the mountains if I felt the pelvic area just did not want to deal with it, I would tell the family to go have fun while I stay at the cabin and make them a good hot meal. For me, no need to explain why... "Because I want to," is my standard answer; they know better than to push it.

I would go
I have only been horseback riding once, bareback on the beach of the mediterranean. what a thrill!
I'd go and have a great time and not worry about the prolapse.
I doubt you'd do permanent damage, maybe just a small setback which, imo is a small price to pay for such fun.

Saddles
Hi All
I imagine that sitting in a saddle that is made for a man's body, and doesn't maintain the lumbar curve, is the problem you are up against. I have not been riding for many years, but I cannot see why you have to sit like that.
Somebody please tell me why it is not possible to sit in Wholewoman posture in the saddle. Is it about the way the stirrups hang? Or have I missed the point entirely?
Cheers
Louise

too much pressure
for me the saddle is higher in the front - so you must sit back or your poor vagina will get battered on the high front- but even when I sit directly on my sit bones I can still maintain the posture- and I can also slightly lift my rear end by pushing into the stirrups- it is exactly the positon to do a plie. The only thing I would avoid like the plague is trotting. Unless you are very skilled at posting all that will happen is you butt will slap over and over into the saddle- not good for prolapse- but if you can get your horse up to a gentle canter quickly the rocking motion feels pretty good to my pelvic organs.

I think a horseback ride through the woods would also be a blissful experience! Wish I were going!! Kit

yes, its one of my most treasured memories. and to think I was not going to get on that horse, I was too scared! really, it was not exactly a safe thing to do, one of those things I never told my mom about. a friend and I were spending a week in the beach city of Netanya, and that was our last evening there. some guy, who spoke no english was riding on the beach and my very flirtatious friend got him to take each of us for a ride.
so that's how I ended up on a horse with no saddle, hanging on to some Israeli guy I didn't know, with the surf splashing up on me as the sun set over the sea.
it occured to me at that point, that this guy could very well kidnap me, murder me, whatever and no one would ever know.
but I lived to tell the tale, and I'm glad I did it!
but don't tell my dd!

Oohh Granolamom!!
That's the stuff of impossible erotic fantasy! Are you sure it really happened? That's the real letting go that we can do when we have no responsibilities. I am hoping that I can do this sort of thing now my children have grown up and can be responsible for themselves. You know, do some 'higher risk' activities, as it won't leave babies orphaned when it all goes pear-shaped.
Nah, don't tell dd about it until you find out about something completely stupid and fulfilling that she has done. Sure as eggs, you will have to do the detective work, because she isn't going to spill the beans! My dd's partner is a cattle farmer and very competent horseman. Lucky duck she is!
Now, I'm off to do a ballet workout so I can build up the thigh muscles to actually get up on that horse. I can see that swarthy horseman cantering down the driveway as I type, robes rippling, eyes aflame, dagger glinting in the early morning sunlight (I am in Arabian Nights here).
Cheers

oooh, wonderful story!!
Granolamom, I just loved the rest of the story!! You had your own real life movie moment. I can picture you with hair flying and a face of pure excitement, maybe masking a tad of apprehension that made for a more thrilling experience. Thanks so much for sharing that. Louise is so right on as usual, real Arabian Nights stuff!! Now, I really want to do it! Kit

pics to prove it
I'm pretty sure it really happened, loiuse, lol. I've got pics of my friend and she of me. I've thought about tracking her down to get my hands on those pics but I haven't seen her since. and that was back in 1991. last I heard she's in manchester.
but to be honest, there were no robes or daggers.
