When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

I'd rather use the stroller
I'd rather use the stroller if my babe would agree- otherwise I would pop him in the pack and go.

experiment
i think you need to see what works best for you, how long the walk is, and how you feel best. I found the wrap sling great for short walks, and rarely felt worse for it. i really worked on the posture in it and it was great. for long walks through i preferred a buggy, though up hills was horrible.
the good thing about carrying regularly is how strong you get. i did find every so often when baby had a growth spurt i'd feel worse for a few days, but then catch up and be back to where i was again.
but i think it is about experimenting.

you know your body best
but from my experience I've found carrying my 19lb 4 month old doesn't make me any worse and the fact I'm carrying him makes me more aware of how I'm standing/walking. In fact I really like the workout that walking with the baby in a sling gives me and nothing beats being able to bend down and kiss their fuzzy little head.
I feel that bending to push something causes more intra abdominal pressure, especially if having to maneuvre a buggy up slopes, steps and uneven ground, than just walking upright and carrying. The only time i've used the buggy was to push my toddler while the baby was in the wrap so its worst of both worlds and not exactly a fair comparison, so I'm interested to know what other think.

strollers and wraps
I wear the baby around the house, for errands and for short walks.
when I want 'to walk' I use the stroller. neither one has proved detrimental to the prolapse situation here.
try it, see what happens.
