Tampessary...

Body:

OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I bought some tampons - Fab!
They sit a bit lower than they should but it cannot peek or get near the door let alone out of it!

Says on the packet though that you are not supposed to use them when not on your period

Hmmmmmmmm

I wish they could make a medical grade silicon tampon type thing - It would be a better option for me than a pessary, as I would be in charge of it and not stretching my nether regions to god knows where...
Now where could I get made one of these medical grade silicon 'Tamessaries' I wonder...
Wold hafta have something like a string to get it out tho...

First time I have felt semi normal in ages . Worried about the not using when on period bit - But I am at moment so thats OK...

I would use the 'Tampessary' when I was going shopping or being on my feet alot. This would be great for me - Although I doubt anything like that would be an easy thing to make, and what would one clean it with (They say just soap and water on normal pessaries)

Hmmmmmmmm

Great news Sue that you found something to help. I will have to give them another go. I to wonder about the safety of using them on bad days when not on a period. Somebody needs to invent something similar to a tampon that we can just taken in and out as we need to that is completely safe and that will not stretch everything. The only problem with having something like that in silicone is that is would probably just slip out once wet. Hmmmm

my guess is that they say not to use when not menstruating as a C.Y.A. move. when menstruating, you will remember to change it frequently, as it will leak otherwise. If not menstruating, you might forget about it and leave it in (risking that nasty TSS thing). so just remember to change it every couple of hours, and maybe use some extra lub once in a while so you don't dry out

so glad you found something that works

Interesting .... I am just reading up on it. Thanks for the link. I don't suffer with stress incontinence anymore but it could help with holding the bladder and bowel up in their place. It does say it is petite and discreet so hopefully would not stretch anything.

PS. Just checked the online store and due to high demand it is sold out temporarily. They are expecting stock back in by the end of February.

It does say it "restores the natural anatomical position of the bladder".

I only have tried the instead (good while in but couldn't get it out) but ck out the others too.

My PT said to go ahead and use while doing sports. For me that is just walking but fast and for long periods of time. The tampon gives me much support and much relief in that I feel like my old self if only for awhile.

What does C Y A move mean please?
