Wetness from uterus/cervix prolapse.

Body:

Hello,

I have been managing my prolapse for a number of years now, which at times feels better than others; I find that my cystocele feels more comfortable if I'm going to be walking around a lot if I keep my bladder fairly empty, particularly later in the day.
I have noticed recently that I have more wetness down there when I stand after sitting, usually later in the day. I don't think this is urine as it doesn't damp my underwear or smell and I'm lucky that I don't have any problem with stress incontinence or leakage, but I think I now sometimes have my uterus and cervix prolapsing at the back, so I wondered whether that was the cause and that the wetness could be natural secretions. My vagina when I'm lying doesn't normally seem to be wet.
I keep whole woman posture etc. as much as possible and so have been somewhat depressed that more things now seem to be bulging; I know that my various surgeries in the past (one ovary removed, childhood abdominal accident and early peritonitis) must have cut through various ligaments and things, but I do wonder how far the uterus or cervix etc can come down. I also have four children.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Thank you

Hi Tathagata,
I've had increased moisture with my uterine prolapse, so don't really see anything unusual about that.
I am actually happy I do, because it really helps things slide in the right direction more easily.

The surgeries could be playing a part in your lack of success with management. What else have you been doing with the whole woman work? If you can and it feels alright, try some jiggling and firebreathing. Whole woman walking is good, and any of Christine videos really help in strengthening the posture. You may just need to add a little more effort. I know I have my ups and downs too, and I always have something from this work to fall back on.
Best wishes.

Thank you for your reply and thoughts. I do fire breathing although too much seems to bring on pulling sensations inside. Being on all fours feels good but not the kind of thing one can do everywhere! Is whole woman walking, walking in whole woman posture with feet forward? I go walking in a group sometimes but always worry about lack of loo stops. Does your uterus prolapse feel like its coming out at the back?
I'm not sure what jiggling is.

I can't say that my uterus or cervix feels like it's coming out the back. Are you sure that it isn't a rectocele you are feeling?

Jiggling is just bending over touching a chair or the floor and just jiggling or jumping a bit. Follow up with a little firebreathing, and then stand in strong whole woman posture. Just another trick in the toolbox that helps.

Not too sure; guess I'll just keep doing the posture. Will try the jiggling.

Well then, maybe it's time to take another look at the self exam:

Hope this helps.
