right groin, hip, leg pain

Body:

Has anybody experienced right groin, hip and leg pain? My vaginal prolapse recently got much worse and is bulging down through the right side vaginally, sort of like a ridge with a bulge. I also have a stage 3 bladder prolapse. At the same time I have been experiencing all of this left flank, groin, hip and even leg pain as it radiates down into my upper leg. Is this normal? I am 62.

Hello Cindymoon and welcome,
Yes, many of us have experienced this, and have found the whole woman work helps with these symptoms as well. You may want to look into Christine's hips book and DVD. She has some great exercises that will help get you going in the right direction. Aussie Soul Sister actually started with the hips program, and then moved onto the rest.

I actually got relief just working on the posture and Christine's regular programs.

This work can and does help with prolapse, hips, and our whole body well being.

Hi Cindymoon - it sounds like you are describing a worsening vaginal vault prolapse in addition to your cystocele. Have you had hysterectomy? If so.....all of what you describe is probably within the realm of normal. I agree with AG that the WW posture and hips work could be helpful, and Christine has a post-hyst video coming out very soon. Cautious but diligent posture work might help keep that vault prolapse from worsening, but sometimes surgery is the only answer. You might want to consider a consult with Christine. - Surviving
