Orgasm

Body:

Is it safe for prolapse?

Not only safe, but very beneficial!

I felt a bit embarrassed asking but good to know! Lol
I was just worried because Christine said Kegels aren't safe and thought the contractions from orgasm would be similar. A bit confused about it.

Kegels are about squeezing supposed pelvic floor muscles, when in reality, you are squeezing vaginal muscles and pulling your pelvic organs back away from the lower belly and into the vaginal space. Not good.

An orgasm causes the uterus to have contractions itself. The uterus is meant to contract, during our periods, when we are having a baby, and yes, during sex aIso.

I have found from personal experience, and asking around on the forum, that sex has helped my uterus stay up longer and higher, pulling everything else with it. Sex is right up there with jiggling and firebreathing for getting things moving in the right direction.

Some dude named Kegel told us we should be squeezing muscles down there, while our uteruses know what they are doing, just part of the natural bodily functions.

about squeezing and pulling the organs back down...but during sex, when aroused, I notice that I am Kegeling. Not on purpose, but just from arousal, the muscles tighten up during intrrcourse.
It happens naturally, but when I thought about it, it felt just like a Kegel. I've always done this and I'm pretty sure it's a natural sexual response.
Also, its not just my uterus that is affected during orgasm. I can also feel my vagina contracting tight as well, just like a powerful Kegel.
??
Trying to figure this out.

I get what you are saying. I have tightened my vaginal muscles around the penis during sex, but during an actual orgasm, I think the sensation is more of a throbbing and feels more involuntary compared to a kegel.

Like quick flickers then. Well either way at least the penis pushes everything back up!

It sure does! Who would have thought our hubbies would come in so handy!
