Ovarian cysts ?

Body:

Hello,
I was reading a few articles on ovarian cysts and how it is possible for them to rest on ones colon and make it difficult to have a bowel movement. I have not been diagnosed with ovarian cysts, but I do have a horrible time with bowel movements. I cannot have a bowel movement without extracting the feces manually. I have felt around inside my rectum and I do feel something pressing on my colon. I just assumed it was prolapse related, but now I wonder if I could have an ovarian cyst causing these problems. My question is has anyone had ovarian cysts that have pressed on their colon making it nearly impossible to have a bowel movement? And, has anyone had success shrinking an ovarian cyst naturally?

I don't have an answer, just trying to keep your topic visible for others to see. I would think, however, that if you had ovarian cysts large enough to be obstructing bowel movements, they would have come to light by now. I suppose it would make sense then, to rule them out. - Surviving

Thank you surviving60.
Honestly, I'm not sure that I've had any tests done to rule them out. I thought it was just prolapse issues I was dealing with and when I was diagnosed 4 years ago and then pressured to have a hysterectomy I ran as far away from western medicine as I could. So I've been very selective about which doctors I see. Which brings me here with this question. I'm hoping one of the ladies on this forum might have some insight.

Best way to keep the topic visible for widest possible viewing, is to comment again using the same subject line, so that's what I'm doing. If you come back on later, I'd recommend doing the same. - Surviving

Thank you Surviving60.

I have some irritation redness around the urethra opening. There has been a death in our family and at the moment I can't concentrate to go back over the videos ... I would appreciate any input. With thanks

Hi Wholesome - Just in general, i would say concentrate on correct posture and toileting practices, and make sure you are emptying completely. If you have been working on WW for awhile, that posture should be pretty automatic and not have to go by the wayside during a family emergency. If you are pre- or post-menopause you might find some relief with a little raw honey applied up in the vagina, and/or something soothing like coconut oil on the urethra. Try sticking to an anti-inflammatory diet as much as possible, if this is not already your practice. Wear comfy cotton undies and change regularly. - Surviving

Thank you for your help Surviving. After a recent bout of bronchitis and a full on cough I notice some changes... I am having to make sure I empty the bladder fully. Yes posture...
Will go with your suggestions. With appreciation :)
