When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

balms
All the balms are good for the anal canal and opening too! Vulva Balm particularly for irritation and itching. :)

Anal Itching/burning
Hi ChannellD
Sounds a bit strange. My first thought was, are you wearing panty liners or pads to catch the little leaks? If so, it may be simple 'nappy rash', ie the ammonia in urine which collects on the pad and dissipates over the whole pad. The pad stays wet and it, combines with something (can't remember) in the little bits of faecal matter around your anus, making acid, which burns. I sometimes get a bit of this late in a period, when I don't realise there is a little bit of leakage. If I don't wear a pad it is obvious! If this is the case, both peri balm and vulva balm do a good job as a barrier that stops further burning and helps the skin to heal.
The other thought is (TMI coming up), can't remember how old your children are. You don't have worms, do you? They will cause itching and inflammation around the anus, worse at night. I used to get them sometimes when our kids were little. I ended up treating myself as well and they finally went away. Having children is a great equaliser!
Cheers

thrush?
another thought is thrush. i never knew till recently you can get thrush in the rectal area. makes sense--it's in our bowels, and that's where it comes out! also babies get nappy rash thrush, why wouldn't we?
alemama suggested grapefruit seed extract. dilute a few drops in water and wipe on a few times a day. works brilliantly! might help? then i find the balms soothes the irritation caused by the thrush, and keep the skin happy ;-)

Another thought on peeing
Hi ChannellD
If your rectocele is making your urine stream divert, and the stream ends up dribbling backwards, maybe you could look at sitting more forward on the toilet. It sounds to me like the way you sit on the toilet is pushing your bladder back, and bang into the rectocele. Your anus would be lower than your urethral outlet which tells me your pelvis is tipped back. Hence the flopped-back bladder. There is a picture in both editions of STWW that shows a good posture for sitting on the toilet so you can evacuate bowel or bladder with these organs sitting in the right place. It is basically Wholewoman sitting posture and it can make using your bowels and bladder much easier and more effective, precisely because it repositions your organs back where they belong, and tightens the pelvic floor muscles so they support the organs, from the back, in their correct positions. You will probably find that the urine stream is narrower as well, because the muscles around it are tight, and that the urine goes straight down. The more force the urine comes out with the more likely it is that you are able to empty your bladder completely. If the urine is dribbling out you might not be able to empty the bladder properly. It needs to empty properly at least once every day so the bladder gets a good flush out of stale urine, which helps prevent infections.
