When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

prolapse
Welcome Jett.
Prolapse is sliding out of place. Doctors usually say "sliding down" because they see the pelvis as a bowl with a plughole at the bottom, covered by the pelvic floor. We would say it is a "sliding back" because we see the pelvis as a vertical ring with a window at the back called the pelvic floor, and some bony bits sticking out, which define our shape and act as framework for our muscles.
Have a feel of your own pelvic bones and see what position your pelvic bones are in.
The doctor should have explained to you the different degrees of prolapse as he assessed you. There are a couple of different scales. The most common one goes from degree 1, which is mild descent of the cervix, through to degree 4 which is whole cervix outside (I think). If you google "pelvic organ prolapse degree" you will find the medical definitions.
However, different doctors examining you with different amounts of food in your intestines, or on different days, or different parts of your menstrual cycle will probably come up with several different diagnoses.
Re the leaking, that is probably because your bladder is always squashed and the sphincters are having difficulty keeping closed. They get tired. Making your posture taller, and relaxing your lower abdomen will give your bladder a safe spot out the front, where it is not being pushed down your vagina and squashed. In this posture your pelvic floor will be stretched taut, and will reinforce the strength of the sphincter muscle around your urethra, so it is more tightly closed.
These improvements will not happen overnight because it takes time for the body to follow new instructions and the muscles to adjust. Give it a few weeks. Hopefully the sling will not get in the way. It is hard to tell. I don't know what they did during the surgery, and am not medically qualified to assess these things.
You can also put 'leaking' into the search box and see what other women have talked about.
What have you got to lose?

what?
Sarcasm? I’m not understanding this exchange, but want to say thank you, Louise, for all the time, care and concern you’ve given these thousands of women over the years! I love the openness of our exchanges and the kinds of women who are drawn to them. The ones who aren’t on our ray fall off eventually, which is best for all. You are a pure heart whom we love dearly!

bladder sling and leaking
I wonder about the angle between the bladder/urethra, and how the sling changes that? I think that makes it difficult to predict if these exercises would stop the leaking, though certainly you can try and see what happens. you've got nothing to lose.
and I think that someone who has already had prolapse surgery is probably better off with the wholewoman program than without it. but I also think that the results are more variable since each surgery and each body's reaction to surgery is different, and difficult to compare to natural anatomy without scarring, etc
