When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Wow Junehy, that is one
Wow Junehy, that is one houseful of kids for one so young! Congrats to you. There are many women on this forum who have had complicated birth experiences. And then there’s the rest of us, who maybe didn’t have quite so much childbirth trauma, but we all have prolapse anyway! Welcome! You have lots and lots of help and company here, and if you’ve already ordered the book and video, then let’s just say that today is the first day of the rest of your life…… Glad you are giving Whole Woman a try before you let anyone else dictate what kind of treatment may or may not be in your best interest. - Surviving

Hi junehy2831 and welcome,
Hi junehy2831 and welcome,
Thank you for your post. You've come to exactly the right place! There's a lot of experience and knowledge from many other women on this site to support you.
Congratulations on the birth of your bably little girl and your growing family too.
You mentioned various factors you thought might have contributed to your prolapse. You may well be right. I can identify with some of your experiences such as giving birth leaning back on the bed, episiotomy, caesarian... tight jeans, poor posture, lifting/pushing things... The more we learn about prolapse the more we can see what helps and doesn't help.
I'm so pleased you're going to get the book and the dvd/s. I found them really helpful and a great resource and support. I would advice anyone with prolapse to purchase these.
One thing to bear in mind is that the pelvic organs exist within quite a fluid environment and are fairly mobile. So the severity of prolapses may vary from day to day or change throughout the day. There are things that you can do which will exacerbate prolapse and things that you can do to reduce prolapse.
Sounds like you've got a uterine prolapse, that was my main symptom, so I do empathise! Some of the things that I found really helpful included: ww posture, ww exercises (ww dvd's), carrying things carefully and close to the front of my body, stewed fruit, gently pushing my cervix up if it's low followed by a forward bend when/if appropriate, forward bends, resting when/if possible if I'm tired and relaxation (I'm a great fan of Rick Hanson's budhist/neuro based relaxation website).. The pelvic organs are all connected, so improving the symptoms in one area will help the pelvic organs generally.
I'm not sure about the tearing and healing. It's been a year since the birth of your daughter so I'm thinking the tissues will have healed by now. It may not look/feel as before, but I wouldn't have thought there was any need for further surgery or stitching. However I'm not a nurse or doctor, so would be interested to hear what others think.
You've got a lot of demands on you that's for sure. I do hope you're able to prioritise looking after yourself alongside everyone else! Wishing you lots of rest and tcl wishes...
Best wishes, wholewomanuk

thank you for the replies, is
thank you for the replies, is there a place to buy or trade the books via a BST group? I am going to have to wait in order to get them all. I was given Down There the dvd but haven't done that one either. not sure who made that dvd but was told it would help. I will look up Rick Hanson but can you explain the stewed fruit? What is the benefit?

Expense vs value
Hi junehy2831,
I'm reluctant to push you to spend money, and I'm not trying to sell stuff, but I personally felt it all made so much more sense once I had the DVD and the book. I was daunted by the prices but took the risk and it's been worth it for the number of times I've watched the DVD or referred to the book.
If you only choose one, I'd go for the First Aid For Prolapse DVD - it'll get you started and you can see exactly what the movements are. It has the whole workout on it plus a handy index at the end of the DVD explaining why the different movements are in there. Firebreathing is explained and demonstrated.
