When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Chickadee, I have found that wearing stretch panties really helps my prolapse. I used to wear cotton panties and a brace on top on my bad days but the stretch panties do the same thing and I waar them all thel time. I get Flexees but there are other makes that are just as good.
About the pessary: From what I have read it is only a temporary fix. Eventually it will aggravate the tissues that it is pushing against and you will have to stop using it. I'm glad that your doctor told you that you have a choice. Mine did too and then I discovered Christines place. So many doctors just say have the surgery.

Thank You.
Chickadee_ .....Thank you for your reply mariezee, I will give the stretch panties a try and look for that brand. My belly seems so bloated, I do need some support in that area too.

Hi Chickadee
So glad you have made it to this site. Better times are ahead for you with this wonderful group of women.
The most important changes you can make are in your posture. Have a look at the www.wholewoman.com Homepage at the FAQ's, which go some way to illustrating how important really good female posture is in keeping prolapsed pelvic organs where they are meant to be, inside you!
If you are a reader, get Christine's book Saving the Wholewoman, and her exercise DVD. From the Wholewoman Homepage, link to the Wholewoman Center site, then from there to the Wholewoman Store where you can buy these online.
There are some other things that will help, secondary to posture, such as keeping your bowel healthy so you don't have to strain on the toilet; altering your clothing style to your abdomen is not squeezed; and also trying some sort of pessary. I suggest that you study up on Wholewoman posture and adopt it as your new posture as soon as possible, then work on keeping your bowel light, then alter some clothes.
After a couple of weeks of all this, you might not even need to try a pessary, but if you do find it helpful, then it is another tool you have at your disposal. Improvements will be gradual, and may involve the odd day when you think you are back where you started, but you will probably see significant improvement after a few months.
You'll find plenty of posts on all these topics in the Forums as well. Just take half a day and go for a trawl. If only it was that easy!
Cheers
Louise
