Urinary Incontinence

Body:

I am a new member to this site. I have already recieved tons of invaluable info. I have decided to not have surgery after finding this site and countless hours of research . I am 32 & have severe uterine prolapse, rectocele, cystocele. Just recently Ihave noticed I am losing bladder control. I am scared to death. I don't know if any one has experianced this. It's very little now, for it has jsut started happening. It seems that since Ive made the decsion to not have the surgery. It is getting worse. I can't stand at all. Which is impossible not todo. Please if anyone has advice as to how to manage this, espescially the incontinence problem, any comments are welcome. Thank You

One of the first things you should do is practice the posture both standing and sitting. It will help to stabilize your prolapses. I have uterine and cystocele quite severe. I find the posture helps quite a bit with the incontinence problem. You also have to learn to relax with this work as everything seems to be worse when you are anxious. This was one of the hardest things for me to learn but has helped me in many other areas of my life. It will take time to learn the posture but is well worth the effort.
Maybe you should also talk to your doctor about having a pessary fitted. If it works for you it will take a lot of stress away and you will feel more comfortable. I have one and even though the posture has helped tremendously I still feel the need for extra support at times.
Hope this helps and best of luck.
