When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Hi cherylp and welcome. Good for your PT. Rarely does anyone in the medical profession know enough to recommend WW, so you have struck it rich in that department.
Yes I know, there is quite an array of materials available in the store. UI, DR, prolapse, hip and back issues, they all come down to posture. So just take a look and see what resonates. There are wonderful bundles of all sizes if your budget allows (best way to get the baton, which indeed you will love). I'm partial to the book and First Aid for Prolapse DVD, because that's how I got started with the basics; but so much has been added. I have since acquired every program and each one adds something to my store of knowledge and understanding.
If at this point in time, UI is the main issue you are struggling with, then you will love the information and the workout in the on-line course for Urinary Incontinence. Immersion is the key, as you pointed out! Not easy with 4 kiddies, but the great thing about mastering posture is that you are doing it all day long. No need to carve out the time.

Now that you have found us it's time to take a deep breath and really have a look around at Christine's work and what it can do for you. Her methods are not a fast track exercise program, but a more methodical approach that will help you restore your body back to its original place and the posture you were always meant to have. We had this posture as children, but it has been lost to us with all the soft furniture and suck and tuck methods of modern society, putting us in this situation of prolapse.
You may want to also look into the WW postpartum bundle, because it has all of Christine's original materials to get you started, and the second wheel yoga DVD for our mothers, although we all can benefit from this great DVD, and the goddess belly DVD that covers the diastasis recti and what you can actually do about it.

PS... SO... I also forgot to mention that I already have a tilted pelvis as the OB's diagnose, I have been struggling for years to keep it upright :) .... But perhaps I have the normal pelvis and need to relax into it and not fight it! :)

Sounds like another gem of wisdom from the medical professionals, huh? So which way is it "tilted" and how have you been trying to compensate? If you've been tucking your butt and sucking in your belly - I hope you've stopped that harmful practice - that's step #1 of the WW work. - Surviving

Pelvic tilt
It is an anterior pelvic tilt. So it is tilted forward...butt sticking out and tummy slightly protruding ;) . Absolutely, I have gotten to the point now where I stopped trying to tuck it. I now realize my buttocks were clenching to try to keep the tuck and are now relaxing, it is interesting. So, now to control the tilt and not just let it flop totally forward. I do see where if lifting up the chest, extending up through the neck and tucking the chin, you definitely are not just flopping it out there, but controlling it. It feels similar to ballerina days and I am tempted to walk as a we did in rehearsal. My back gets tired though. Always has. Just need to strengthen all around. But first to correcting the diastasis recti. Thank you for your help and input.

The relaxed belly does not flop forward in Whole Woman posture. The chest is strongly lifted and this combo creates the lovely lumbar curvature that supports the organs. I don't think it's helpful to think of "controlling the tilt" - that tends to make you tighten up somewhere. -- Surviving
