tackling this candida!

Hello all,
so...measles are through, i have a holiday next week, and then i am tackling this thrush / candida!
I think it is probably systemic, and whilst I was going to say not related to prolapses, i read that candida can cause constipation which affects my rect, so there...I don't have to feel guilty taking up web space here with my thrush!

my homeopath gave me something and all my symptoms disappeared (hurray!) till I had antibiotics for two days, and then dared to eat a biscuit as i felt so good. bam, it's back--and i'm learning just how many places thrush can affect!

Newbie

I am 63 and have had no children. I saw my gyno in June after feeling something dropping a bit through my vaginal opening and got the diagnosis of a cystocele. Wanting to avoid surgery, I asked about using a pessary and was told that pessaries were usually only used by old women and if I wanted to stay active (as in jogging, weight training, backpacking), I needed to have surgery. I didn't find anything at all re-assuring about surgery with the bit of online research I did and it wasn't clear how I was supposed to remain active with the restrictions that seemed to be required after surgery.

Nauli

Today I was laying on my back and went to get up but was moving slow so I stopped midway and noticed that my stomach looked like you ladies described when doing nauli. My cystocele went up when I was laying like that. I had my head and neck off the bed. I am confused because I thought being on your back wasn't a great position as the bladder and uterus are not supported but that is the only way I can get my stomach like that. I have tried standing up and nothing. Anyone have advice for how I can do it standing up? Also how long are you supposed to hold it etc.?

8 months post partum, with cystocele and rectocele.

Hello

I'm not sure if anyone will remember me. I posted a few months back.
I'm a young mummy to three, aged 6, 3.5 and 8mths. Following miss 8mths birth I discovered I had a prolapse (was cystocele, rectocele and also my cervix had prolapseed too).
Those initial weeks were pure torture, dealing with my 'failing' body and also postnatal depresson, I struggled to ever see a day where things would be close to normal (well as long as I could stand for more than 5 min without feeling like my insides would hit the floor, that seemed 'normal' enough)

10 weeks postpartum via VBAC with cystocele and rectocele - need advice

My first child was a c-section because she was breach. I had a very difficult VBAC with my second child. He was 8lbs 12oz and he was face up. I wasn’t dilating so they gave me pitocin to move things along. I kept asking if I should have a c-section. Finally when I was fully dilated, I pushed for 2.5 hours and they had to use a vacuum to get him out. I was immediately brought to the OR for repair because I tore both internally up to my uterus and externally off to the side of my bottom.

New here and confused!

I gave birth to my second child 8 weeks ago - at about 5 weeks PP I discovered a large, pink, ridged bulge at the entrance of my vagina! I freaked out and showed my husband, who seemed to think it was just swelling from over-doing things. I wasn't convinced. The bulge was "gone" the next day and I was SO relieved but my relief was short-lived. The bulge kept coming back and it all looked really odd down below - I checked it so many times, I could hardly tell the difference between what was normal and what wasn't after awhile!

Horse back riding

I have a rectocele and a cystocele. I am 6 months pregnant and I'm currently not riding, but I would like to get right back to it. I ride alomst everyday and compete. So it's a very large part of my life. Will this condition get in the way?

6 months pregnant with bladder and rectal prolapse

I just found out on tuesday that have a bladder and rectal prolapse. I'm also 6 months pregnant with my second and I'm 27 years old. I've had alot of problems with constipation. Now it's not that bad (I'm on a good diet), but I'm still having problems with my BMs. They are soft but I still feel have to strain to go. There is also alot of mucus in my BM. My bladder prolapse seems pretty big and the rectal one seems alot smaller.

I'm not sure if i should go see a specialist or just rely on my OB for help.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Bowel motions - what is normal for women?

Hi All
