Hope for newly postpartum prolapsed!

Hello Everyone!

This is the first time I've posted but I'm not exactly new here. I wanted to post my story to say a really big thank you to everyone involved in this site - and to hopefully provide some hope for newly prolapsed mummies.

“Are You Saying The Entire Medical Establishment Knows Nothing About Prolapse?”

Not so very long ago, all the world’s most eminent scientists thought the world was flat. Just because they were eminent didn’t make them correct. I urge all thinking women to read Thomas Kuhn’s The Structure of Scientific Revolutions so you will understand that such mass misperceptions are not only probable, they are inevitable. And in every generation many scientists go to their graves firmly espousing theories that have been completely demolished by their colleagues.

Mothers of Multiples

Hello all,

Fabulous - 5mos Post Partum and There's Finally An Answer. Now What?!

Well, I'll start off by saying, I've been reading quite a few posts since I found out about my prolapse and I just thought I'd share my story... and hopefully it gets better from here.
I cannot believe the pain I am in. Constant and torturous.
I am 37 and have recently given birth to a beautiful baby girl who truly is the light of my existence at this dark and craptastic time.

37 Yr Old Recovering from Stage 3 Prolapse Surgery

Hello. Like some of the other posts, I'm new here after searching the Internet looking for any kind of advice and support I can get. I'm 8 weeks post op from cystocele and rectocele surgery. I was "a mess," as my surgeon said and will likely need more surgery. Having a more minor one in 2 months to close the opening to my vagina which was totally stretched out after the birth of my first son 2 1/2 years ago (he was 9#, 4 oz, and was pulled out with forceps after 2 hours of noneventful pushing).

successful ride

Hey, Qtrpony:

Are things going okay for you? I thought of you because I went riding today. I got on the old bouncy quarter horse this evening and had a grand time. We did a little trail riding (walk & trot) and then some walk, trot, and canter through a field. I used my internal support device (tampon). So far, so good, though I'll take it easy and do more WW exercises the next few days. It felt so good to be on a horse again.

Heavy garden stuff

Hi All

I've just been thinking about stuff I do outside and figured that there are better and worse ways of doing almost anything.

One of the worst things to do is hurrying. This probably applies to non-garden things too. If you take your time and do tasks mindfully it is usually possible to get your posture organised in your head before you do something stupid.

Silly question about Jeans...

I am wondering if ther are any jeans out there that will not compress lower abdomen?

I only ask as without my noticing I lost weight and Ionly noticed today when I saw myself in my Mothers mirror and noticed my clothes were hanging lollllllll

(If I don't answer in a few days it's cos I am supa busy this weekend)
