Jiggling Encouragment

Forum:

On her fifth anniversary, earlier this month, Surviving 60 posted how she jiggles and it helped me come up with my own version that has been working great for me. Thank you S60! The leg part was key for me and I just wasn't getting it until I read your post.

First pp period with prolapse

So I'm finding this period has hit me like a freight train... I had expected discomfort but not to be unable to stand for more than a minute or two without feeling like I've been whacked with a mallet in my nether regions.
Can I do elbows and knees at this time or is that bad for the flow? Really feeling rotten today all in all and hoping that this doesn't drag on for another six days. (I suspect it will).

Does this sound like a prolapse??

I'm going to try to keep this a short as possible. I'm new here, and would really appreciate some feedback :)! I hope I posted to the most appropriate forum...

Toilet sitting - noticed something in the book?

Forum:

I know we talk about LoPo here a lot, but in reading through the book, Christine only mentions this type of position for a cystocele. Then it says this: "If I were healing a rectocele, in addition to a highly energetic diet and quality movement, I would avoid all straining against the toilet seat as in Figure 13-1 (lifting off the toilet seat into a half squat) and try to sit as much as possible using the strength of my own spine."

So does that mean LoPo is NOT recommended for rectocele? That I should be sitting basically in WW posture on the toilet instead?

polyps

hello all, has anyone treated dx uterine polyps with the chaparral and pennyroyal mentioned in the dvd vaginal health, thank you,

PERIMENOPAUSE, HYSTEROSCOPY, D&C, UTERINE PROLAPSE

Hi, I am new. I am 52 and experiencing irregular period, sometimes heavy period (may be due to my fabroid?) and the gynaecologist diagnosed that I have stage 3 uterine prolapse.
The gyn advised me to do hysteroscopy and D&C under GA, I am hesitating whether to do them after reading the possible side effect.
Can someone please kindly help me in this?
Thank you very much

Nearly 9 months pp - more on hormones

As a pp mum when I first came here I devoured posts from other mums with rectocele/cystocele that documented their setbacks and healing. I had been going to post an update at 12 months pp but recent changes have prompted me to write today and I'll post again at 12 months for a 'compare and contrast'!

Coccyx, swelling, nerve damage

Hi. Rectocele sufferer here since the intense birth of my second child. Boo.

I am just wondering (I say 'just' I could probably write heaps) about how to tell if there is still swelling around the rectum? And nerve damage - how to tell, how long to heal, & how do BOTH these things effect the rectocele/healing?

Skinny Jeans - No, No

Forum:

Hi

Another reason not to wear skinny jeans.

https://nz.news.yahoo.com/video/watch/28529003/skinny-jeans-a-health-haz...

The lady in the video clip was squatting and moving house in them and she basically cut off circulation to her legs and ended up in hospital. She no doubt did not help her long-term pelvic stability either.

Belly Dance for Birth

I was reading my local women's mag today and it had an article about a women who teaches Belly Dancing for pregnant women to help with labour.

On her site she had this quote:
"'A Bedouin Arab girl learns a pelvic dance during the puberty..and will belly dance, when she is in labour. The belly dance represents the power of women to produce life.' - Sheila Kitzinger1"
