Breathing confusion

Forum:

Hi ladies,
I was reading through some posts, and there was mention of breathing into/expanding the upper abdomen/under ribs. There was even a quote from the Hips book. I thought WW breathing was to be directed into the relaxed lower belly!?! Help please!

Whole Woman Conference

Forum:

Hello!

I'm curious to hear from those who have attended the WW conference in the past and those who are planning to go this year in August. What made being at the conference valuable? Was there content that was not already provided in Christine's books? I'm trying to determine if I will attend this year.

Thanks so much!

Success (woohoo)! and Support

Success first: so discovered prolapse after 1st baby (told by PT I was a mid stage 2 for front wall prolapse), then which I am eternally grateful for I discovered Whole Woman and a new perspective on life. While pregnant with 2nd baby, my symptoms seemed to disappear from 2nd trimester onwards but I was very worried about what labour etc would do to my prolapse. With all good intentions I unfortunately did a lot of pushing through labour and ended up almost on my back towards the end which was definitely not ideal.

Bladder Prolapse

Hi, down i posted my request yesterday , I really need help. My job requires lots of standing, I can go on for an hour , then i feel my bladder slipping down, at that time should i go sit down or do fire breathing exercise, i need some guidance. If i am sitting down all the time then there is no problem but i cannot do that. One more thing how many times you can do fire breathing exercisest es without hurting myself. In the book it says only 15 minutes a day. Also christine kent suggests 10 to 20 minutes exercises everyday but if i do twice a day, will it make me feel better?

Help and advice please! Probiotics and vitamin d questions

So for the last month or so I've been feeling generally better - much less irritation internally and many days of being close to 'normal' for at least a good part of the day which is great.
One thing that I'm still struggling with is my unpredictable bowel function.

Exercises/learning help please

HI - I have wandered around the site for a while and looked around and watched a lot of videos etc that are all telling me to learn the posture and buy buy buy.... but I cant find anywhere something to just simply show me the exercises/posture. Do I have to purchase something to get some lessons or some exercises on how to sit/stand and change my posture ? Because I simply do not have any money to spend and would like to try to see if I get some improvement before I scrape up the cash....

New and confused!

Hi! I'm 28 years old and I recently found whole woman and I love all the info I have read so far! My journey started about 5 1/2 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I was feeling very swollen and uncomfortable so I took a mirror and looked at my vagina. I noticed a slight cystocele and rectocele, although at the time I had no idea what it was. At my next appointment I mentioned to my doctor that it looked like I had body parts falling out of me and she dismissed it as being swollen during pregnancy and it would go away after delivery.
