blood smear with tissue after firebreathing

Hi,
I have stage 4 cystocele and I'm concerned about some blood smears with some thin tissue that happens during the course of the day. I noticed that it only happens after I do the firebreathing. I tried to slow down when I do them and do less of it and of course with an empty stomach. I also make sure that I'm well lubricated. The days that I don't do the firebreathing, I don't have this problem. Please advise, thank you.

How do I sit???

Forum:

I am a new member on the forum and it's taken a few weeks to get up the courage to write here and ask my questions. It's been so great to read all the posts and see that I am not alone with this difficult condition.

Prolpse got worse

Hi i would like to enquire if anyone has had uterine prolapse for many years, that suddenly seems to have got worse. I have had my prolapse for 18 years after a straight forward delivery with my first child.about 12 months ago my whomb felt like it had either slipped down more, or got more swollen. Somedays it feels like the whole womb is out. I have always read that the womb shrinks after menapause, i am 58 and have not had a period for 4 years. So i would have thought it should be shrinking by now.

NPR article on posture and back pain

I just read a recent article about a woman teaching "indigenous posture" to people to alleviate back pain. How amazing that this woman is figuring out the same thing from the perspective of back pain. It would be so great if she and Christine Kent could discuss their findings and see if they agree and could compliment each other's work. This article just came out on NPR:

"Total Mess"

I found Whole Woman site in 2007 when I found I have a cystocele and rectocele.
I have had very good results following the program. I will get lazy at times and have
what I call a relapse. But, I will check in on the site and read some of the forums and
and get back to what I needed to do.
I just turn 70 and so far it has not been good. I had a brownish discharge for several
days and went to my Gyn. Had a pelvic ultra sound which I believe moved the prolapse
around. I have not felt the same since then. My doctor wants to do a D&C or a culture.

9 days PP

I am 9 days PP and I have a cystocele/rectocele. I am 33 and feeling kind of depressed about it all. I have felt a bit more encouraged since finding this site, and I'm hoping the WW posture and exercises will help. I have just started working on them. I have a couple questions. 1. How many times a day should I do the new kegels exercises? 2. I notice that after being on my feet for awhile I can feel a bulge more than when I have been lying down or sitting. I go back to work in 11 weeks, I'm an RN and will be on my feet a lot. Will things improve a bit by then?

New to all this

Where to start...I just turned 28 (today) and have a 4 year old and a 14mo old. My oldest was an emergency csection after I started pushing (stinker turned her head and got stuck). My youngest was a VBAC, but was a vacuum assist with a second degree tear and LOTS of intense pushing at the end.

Understanding

Sorry to ask another question....

With POP, would the bulges be more pronounced if ones bladder or colon was full? For example...I've woke up this morning with the extreme urge to urinate, yet no bulge? My colon must be full 100% too as I haven't been the toilet since yesterday morning. Or is this not the case?

Go on a retreat!

Well, I booked a mindfulness retreat day several months ago, before I had found you all or heard anything about WW posture. The day came yesterday, and was brilliant - lots of sessions of kneeling in WW position using a yoga stool, interspersed with appropriate yoga exercises and a walk outside in the countryside after a delicious lunch.

Feeling Empowered

I am so thankful I found this website this week! I am 51 years old and my youngest of three children is 16 now. Although I now realize that there are many contributing factors to "pop" I feel very strongly that trauma during my son's delivery is the main cause of my rectocele and enterocele. The doctor performed an emergency forceps delivery with episiotomy because he thought the cord was around my son's neck. Thankfully, my son was just fine. I was told at the time that I had a 4th degree tear and that it would take a while to sew me up.
