Has anyone used the MuTu System along with Whole Woman?

Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my post. Scroll to the bottom if you don't want to read my history first :) I'm slightly familiar with both Mutu and WW but I still have a lot of learning to do about both programs. Forgive me in advance if I use the wrong terms or am misinformed about the things I'm about to say.....

Prolapsed Cervix

Hi Ladies,

Five years ago I received a dx of a prolapsed cervix at my annual exam and shortly after, I found the Whole Woman organization. (Thankfully, before seeing a gynecologist whose recommendations were dismal and lack of information, shocking). I have read & re-read the Book and last year, purchased 'The WW Solution to Pelvic Organ Prolapse', both of which have been very helpful. I do some of the exercises daily, and definitely notice if I miss a day or two.

Only 29 with grade 2 cystocele

Hello, I'm 3 1/2 months postpartum and was diagnosed with a grade 2 cystocele (actually diagnosed with grade 1 but I know it's worse than that as I have bulging). I'm pretty upset about this as I'm very active...love to lift weights, do yoga and run mid distance. I'm a pediatric Occupational Therapist, therefore I'm on my feet all day and my job involves lifting. I'm exclusively breastfeeding and in no way plan to stop, goal is 12 months. I had a fairly small baby, 6 lb 11 oz, short pushing (20 minutes), no tearing...pretty simple (in regards to no problems), med-free birth.

Yoga with a Chair helping WW Posture

Forum:

Hello everyone, I have been visiting this site for a while now and have been doing the WW posture for 3 weeks and I am loving how much better my body feels. The friend who showed me WW has recently tried a new type of yoga that she says helps her maintain WW posture, and I was wondering if anyone else had experience doing this. She even told me that their is a special chari you can buy to help with the yoga moves, and using that helped her finish the yoga session while still keeping posture.

Should I be concerned about Prolapse that bulges

It's been about 11 years since I first went to a doctor to discover what to do about my prolapse - I went to several different doctors who all said there was no problem - was appalled by their lack of concern. Now, 11 yrs later, I am finding it is increasing difficult to even walk without having to reposition my prolapse, as it bulges from within and is difficult to walk or do other activities. I am 74 years old and wonder what I should do - I am concerned that this situation could be injurious to my other organs.

Thankful!

I am so excited that I came across this site completely "accidentally!" At least two years ago my Gyn told me that the only two answers for my bladder prolapse are: A. surgery B. a pessary. He was downright rude when I asked for clarification about other options. I have not been back to him. But should get another pap smear sometime soon. Looking forward to learning some new things that might actually be beneficial. This is crucial work that you are doing here! Thank you!

Just starting on this journey

Hi, I came upon this site in my quest for answers or hope. I am a 42 year old who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 prolapse. It wasn't a surprise because there is a family history of it. In fact my mother died due to catching sepsis after surgery to repair the prolapse. I guess my questions are more to do with my options. I am a divorced mother to a 7 year old boy (he was born by c section) and both my parents are gone. I really have no one else to rely on so I am trying to learn what's in my best interest as far as treatment so that I can continue to be a good mother to my child.

Is there hope for my prolapse as I am almost 53

I have recently discovered my uterine prolapse. I have been to the doctor and have an appointment for ultrasound and then with the gynocologist on Aug. 1. I have just recently discovered this website and other help on the internet. I really do not want a hysterectomy knowing all I know now. I will go to my appointments as I want to still ask questions and also find out what stage my prolapse is and if I have a prolapsed bladder also. Is there hope for me to see improvement if I can practice those "new" kegels and use better posture?

estrogen cream

I had a pessary inserted today and my dr recommended estrogen cream. I came home and got online to search for an alternative to this. I was pleased to find this site. But a search of this forum only turned up one option, coconut oil. I really dislike the smell of it so may look for an unscented one if that exists. I also found some negative reviews of pesssaries but think I'll try it for awhile. so far it is good - 5 hrs - except it may be unkinking my bladder and producing a more urgent urge to void. don't want any accidents. anyone have any comments on either of these issues ?
