Menopause...are we ticking time bombs?

I've been dealing with this really obnoxious and mentally exhausting rectocele since 2016. I have adopted the WW posture, exercises, and other helpful hints and tips. The posture has been great help. When I read about prolapse through this forum and others, plus other online resources, I am really worried about the dreaded menopause. What is the deal? Will this just get a billion times worse when I hit the change? I'm 38, but scared already. I read the tissues deteriorate and whatever prolapse I have now, will be worse.

52 with prolapse and possible rectocele

Hello. I am new and haven't been able to review videos. I do understand that comments are not medical advice but opinions/observations/experience. I am 52 with history of constipation and hemmorrhoids, no period for 11 months, no discharge or pain, no leakage but feel like sitting on ball. I have a Dr apt but not for another month for a diagnosis only. But until then, a d I apologize for being so graphic, I have 2 masses blocking vaginal canal entrance. Any idea on what it could be, if urgent, and will it be a bad idea for coitus. Any advice?

Rectocele/colonoscopy

Hello,

I have finally managed to join this wonderful forum and this is my first post.
I was diagnosed with a stage 3 uterine prolapse, moderate rectocele, moderate-to-large cystourethrocele, and nocturia over two years ago, although I now realize that I had missed symptoms like the bulge, leaky tampons, waking up to urinate at night, and bowel movement changes that began well before the prolapse diagnosis.

Save Your Hips online video course launch

Actually, it began right here on the Whole Woman Forum.

Christine noticed posts where women proclaimed that not only was their prolapse much better, but their hip pain had gone as well!

Those posts launched Christine on a 15 month odyssey of reading, studying, and research to become expert on the anatomy and physiology of the hip joint, which led to the publication in 2013 of her book and companion DVD, Save Your Hips.

Hi ladies

Hi ladies, I would be happy to hear from your experience please… I see a great improvement with the posture with both my symptoms and my d.r., yet I feel very embarrassed keeping the posture… in the street, or sitting with other women at a meeting and being so "strait" while all the others are not… and keeping the chest up – I really need your encouragement please :-) thank you!

Revisiting observations regarding urine retention and increase in bad bacteria counts

Hello there... I am revisiting this since lots is being learned about the lining of gut and tissues, mucous and microbes etc this past year that is getting more mainstream. After doing some observing of thyroid med and electrolytes... I am thinking how else can i stop the dr from continuing to prescribe antibiotics for my mom to cover himself? My mom is NOT racing to pee every few minutes. SHe can actually hold urine for approx 2 hours. So doesn't that indicate that there is no infection?

Laughter Yoga

Forum:

A few months ago I started attending Laughter Yoga classes with friends. Each class is about one hour of mostly laughing. I guess I'm wondering if all this laughing is actually helpful for my prolapse? I do stay in posture as much as I'm able with everything in my life. I'd like to begin a daily laughter practice on Skype. I'm just not sure if this may be too much strain or may cause damage to my prolapse. I appreciate your advice.

Feeling discouraged.

I'm 62 and have a rectal intussusception and other prolapse issues. No surgeries and would like to avoid any. I'm trying to have successful bowel movements with psyllium husk, bran, lots of vegetables but it seems to only work with magnesium citrate added. Will the body work help with this? I've been doing it for about three months now and will continue with firebreathing, new kegels, posture, etc. I had to take senna last night and am feeling discouraged today as I lay on the heating pad which has become my constant companion. Is red raspberry leaf any help with these issues?

Confused about Exercise

Forum:

I'm looking for clarification to the Exercise chapter in Saving the Whole Woman. In Christine's book, she talks briefly about what exercise can be done, and, to my understanding, says that anything should be fine as long as it is done in WW Posture. So I am wondering if that means that all exercises that include engaging the abdominal muscles (pulling them in) are out since pulling in the stomach is not part of WW Posture.

But then there is fire breathing which has us pull in our abs on the exhale. So is it only safe to activate/suck in the abs on an exhalation?

Plant Based Diet - info I'd like to share

Forum:

Hello Ladies!
I am a new member and diagnosed myself with mild Prolapse of both the bladder and rectum 2 years ago, I was also professional diagnosed with a tilted uterus (retro) when I was 18!. I am 38 yrs old and never had children but have been doing T-Tapp for the last year and noticed that my prolapse symptoms have gotten worse since the T-Tapp posture requires you to tuck your butt :( Although I have gotten stronger and more fit.
