sad and discouraged-kegels not helping?!

So discouraged today...went back to physical therapy after following this kegel regiment and no improvement at all...in fact I have to say, my muscles actually feel weaker! How can this be?! Then when having sex last night it was uncomfortable and when I tried to squeeze the muscles felt like there was no strength in them. Is it possible that all of this kegeling isn't good for me? Has this happened to anyone?

Do you get - after...

Does anyone know if you get swelling internally after loop (leep) excision or whatever it's called?

I feel kinda 'full' and 'heavy' inside after this on Monday - Wondering is it swelling or is my prolapse doing it

If it is my prolapse - It's now pressing centrally and not to the left - Wheer it was before...

Ideas?

Bowel urgency

I am freaking out here ladies. After my son was born (6 years ago) I suffered with bowel urgency for about 3-6 months and then it improved to the point where I no longer worried about it. Well its back again! The last couple of days I have had this sudden urgency when needing the toilet. Yesterday I got no warning and then all of a sudden I had pressure and knew I had to go. Its as if the BM makes its way down without my control and then I get lots of pain as its pressing on my roid/tear which is right at the opening.

should I have a cystoscopy?

Decided to go to a urologist after seeing my nurse practitioner, who said I did not have a significant amount of prolapse. I adore my nurse practitioner, but I thought, this guy deals with bladders every day, and I just really wanted a second opinion. I made sure beforehand that this particular doc is known for a good bedside manner.

sad...................

We went to a superbowl party last night. The host's Mother is a dignified, vital, strong woman whom I love and admire. She is visiting from out of state and I had heard that she recently had surgery for prolapse. Of course I asked her how she has been doing. Well, inevitably and sadly it turns out that it failed completely!

Interesting reading?

Just found and was reading this on the internet which may or may not be of interset:-

Christine help-- surgery== protecive coughing position?

Christine,
Unfortunately on my baby's 2 week birthday, my apendix ruptured. I had surgery on Wednesday. My prolapse feels very affected by this latest assault on my body. Coughing feels like my bladder is going to come out. I have little time to search for this, so can you help me figure out a way to position myself when I cough?
Thanks!
Jane

Girdle

Hey just wanted to share my improvement. I had a stage 2 prolapse and now it stage one. My uterus is a bit dropped but it was worst around x mas time, when it was so uncomfortable to sit. THe following things have helped me tremendously

-having lots of sex
-wearing a girdle, because I feel so tight everywhere and it helps me keep in posture
-flaxseed with orange juice
-kegels, but real kegels!
- and of course telling myself everyday, "that nothing last forever" and I will go back to my old self!

New here with an introduction and question
