I had a thought :-O

So...... Some of us have been realllllllllllllllllllllly upset about this - We have been crying our eyes out like loons right...

What happens when you cry like that (terrifically cry not just one tear - Sobbing like cry)

Well methinks as you cry like the world is ending your belly is pushed in and out by the sobbing and internal pressures etc yadda

You know that racking sort of sobbing that tires you out when it finally stops...

Methinks this does not do us any favours

Well it doesn't emotionally anyways... But - would this also make our Pops feel worse?

Who knows.

instead of checking...

• Go for a 20 minute walk whilst (as an American I LOVE that Old English word) making large, slow movements with your arms, like gracefully flapping your wings. When you lift the arms up whilst :-) keeping the shoulders down, upper back flat and broad, and head pulled up at the crown, the whole-body fascial stocking is exercised and organs are moved toward their anatomic positions. Keep your feet pointing straight ahead and your lower belly relaxed. Breathe through your nose.

• Come home and take several slow firebreaths.

The Land of Oz

Louise - You have often mentioned that you live in Oz. There is a brand new documentary on PBS (Public Television) tonight entitled "Parrots in the Land of Oz. The colors, behaviors and habitats of the parrots occupying Australia." I don't know if you can access this, but I thought members here in the U.S. might be interested. In Eastern Standard Time, the show airs at 8:00 PM.

I noticed...

I noticed that when I click on my name it tells me I have been here for one year and 50 weeks (I was sure it would be about a year longer than that lol)

Anyways that tells me that when I got here - It was peeking and was a uterine prolapse being the problem, I could feel it when I walked - Very annoying...

Then I got into posture and it went away within about a month or two. So I had a year and and about 7 1/2 months peace or thereabouts - Then this...

How come...

How come if you strain like with constripation this can affect say a cystocele - I would think that it would do stuff to a rectocele but I want thoughts on how this might do something to a cystocele...

Luckily I am not really a constipated person (Bar once in November but I wasn't strainnnnnning for that or anything - Just come back later etc) - I don't get how 'one push' could possibly do this to my cystocele when people can push out a baby and not be affected?

Thoughts?

Firebreathing

Is this in the book? (The blue cover book) I can't find it in the index and - Well its one thing I havent tried as yet...

constipated

Hi ladies...I have noticed lately that when I am constipated..which is often....my prolapse seems to sit lower. Also I can feel in the back around my rectum area...sorry...a bulge. And once I have a bowel movement the bulge is gone. I've tried many things to keep from getting constipated..not a lot works for me...Help...Thanks ...Marilu

Fluidity

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Fluidity bar I've been seeing on tv. It looks pretty good, dance positions and all, and has great feedback on various websites. I'm 49 and getting really soft - loved pilates and hip hop abs but they were both very hard on my prolapse so I had to stop. I'd like to get the Fluidity bar but I don't want to spend that much on something that will "bring me down", so to speak. Does anyone know?

For those interested...

I posted a new poem under the 'fundraiser' topic. Kit

got the book and read it last night - had a breakthrough!

I am still trying to assimilate all this as it is so new to me, but one thing that really gave me an "aha!" moment is based on an experiment Christine recommends in the book. The way I did it was this: lying down or standing up, I tilted my pelvis back and tightened my pelvic floor muscles. Ok, that felt fine. UNTIL I tried the same tightening with my pelvis tipped FORWARD. The difference in feeling was almost jaw-dropping. For the first time it all started to click with me.
