Six months postpartum - rectocele advice please!

So today a bittersweet milestone - I'm six months pp which means that my beautiful baby is an absolute joy in every way possible. It also means I'm at the point where my pt told me if I wasn't healed I'd be referred to a urogyneacologist for a proper diagnosis.
Although I've told the pt I'm not doing kegels and she knows I'm following ww, I'm still seeing her every six weeks or so to keep 'in the system' - although I wonder now how much value this may be.

Guess the prolapse ........

Hi

Please could someone help. After a platies class (I now know how evil they are for prolapse) I can feel heaviness and dragging accompanied by pain and cramping.

I have tried to self assess from Christine's notes but I can't figure out what prolapse I have. When I insert my fingers all I can really feel is some hard bump type thing towards the back of my vagina. Apart from slight pain and heaviness the other symptom I seem to have no is not feeling like my bladder has emptied enough - and the need to go more often.

An observation I wanted to share

Using tampons to keep prolapse from falling

While I am trying to manage my prolapse with exercise which I have been doing for about 2 weeks now my Dr. suggested that I can use a tampon when I am symptomatic. I am 62 and have long past menopause. Have any of you other ladies used a tampon regularly to keep prolapse up?

Mild postpartum rectocele and exercise

I'm new to this forum. I have 2 children and last week at my 6 weeks postpartum checkup I've been diagnosed with a mild rectocele. The doctor said to avoid constipation and keep doing pelvic floor exercises, suggesting that hopefully it will resolve itself in time. She also said walking, swimming and doing sit ups is ok but didn't recommend running.

is vaginal atrophy natures non-surgical solution

Might vaginal atrophy of organs and the scar tissue that is created by erosion and friction of our body tissue probably act like a brace or a tightening of the supports and framework for prolapsing organs? Such as might intentional scarring by surgical procedure?
My moms alternative doc said that the calcification around the heart arteries are also potentially keeping the enlarged aorta from bursting.... So that is kind of interesting....The calcified arteries are protecting the tissue...and holding things together

Persistent Infection

I am new. I experienced uterine prolapse last November, 2014.
My OB/GYN at that time indicated there was "nothing to do unless I kept getting infections and/or I started losing urine control." Meanwhile - I have burned the internet up looking for options. I found one in the book "Saving The Whole Woman."

Ballet

Forum:

I am new so be nice to me. :) I experienced uterine prolapse this past November, 2014.
Since that time I have done enormous amounts of research and was very happy to learn there is an alternative. An alternative that is "kinder", "gentler" to my body that the other options.

I purchase the book "The Whole Woman" and when I reached the exercise section I sat there puzzled!
THIS WAS BALLET!!!

Embracing Prolapse

Forum:

Hi, Friends,
I'm a very positive person, and always seek to choose a positive perspective of the events of my life. That's why I chose "Thriving 70's" as my WW name.

Question for anybody

Forum:

I am considering buying the whole woman bundle. It says it has the following:
First Aid for Prolapse DVD
Saving the Whole Woman book
The Whole Woman Exercise Baton for use with the Whole Woman Workout and the exercises in First Aid for Prolapse
My question is does this bundle include the Whole woman workout or just the baton? Is this a separate DVD included with the book The Whole Woman.
Would appreciate anyone answering this for me. Thanks
