Lying down on the couch with legs elevated?

Forum:

Quick question - as I'm a newbie and waiting on my WW materials to arrive - I'm watching the March Madness basketball games and have hacked my Ikea couch into a slant board/inversion type thing.

Basically I'm laying flat on the couch (my head and back supported by a tiny pillow) and my legs are propped up at a wedged angle so my feet are about 18" above my head, like this:

Uplifting

I didn't know where to post this really, but we are a more than just our symptoms and battles. This is a post where I would like to hear from people on things uplifting in thier lives. What brings you joy? Or what is your favorite hobby? Have pets?, share about them! What is your favorite season of the year? Kids/ grand kids do something you wanna brag about? You get the picture.... I will start.

To SafelyHeld in respons to your help with gas issue

Safelyheld,

In response to your help with my gas issue. Since hinging at the hips has been awkward for me, I have a question for you.

A little history first:

has anyone had just an enterocele?

I just had a defography and was told I have an enterocele (small intestine prolapse) by the xray tech. I will be seeing the Doctor for a follow up. Before going I would like to know if the exercises and treatment for this would be similar to the one's that are shown on the video's sold at this site and are they helpful for a enterocele?

Hi everyone, 34 y.o. newbie here and this is my story - need help with next steps for diagnosis!

Hi all,

Another woman joins the troops! My story is just beginning - and I'm in need of your advice on where to go from here as I have not been officially diagnosed yet.

I'm 34, never married but with a loving partner, never had children, and had been spending the last 10 years of my life living my dream - moving to New York, going to grad school, and after years of hustling, finally landing my dream job with a big promotion a few months ago. I was on top of the world and ready to start the most productive period of my life.

Bikes?

Forum:

Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a bike, and I'm after some recommendations and advice for bikes and bike-riding. I've watched Christine's youtube clip and tried to google the type of seat she has but didn't come up with much. Has anyone got specific brands they have had success with? Any other advice? This would be for riding around the neighborhood with my kids, and maybe some longer rides - nothing too over the top ;-)

PT was a disappointment

Went to PT and it was very disappointing. I know that others have had the same experience but I felt like I should try every option anyway especially since I was on a waiting list, blah, blah, blah. I think I was really just wanting for someone in my presence to tell me that they were going to help, that they would care for me, that it was going to be ok. The constant urge to pee is tough to physically handle but my emotional state is the real issue. My bulges are bringing back feelings that came from past traumatic events.

Postpartum and prolapsed

Hello wonderful women of the WW forum,

Oils?

Hi! I am wondering if any of you have ever used essential oils for your prolapse. I am just beginning to plan out my method of healing... if you want to call it that. I ordered the book, currently waiting for my pessary to arrive and wanting to also give a try to those sea pearl sponges I have read about.
