Sore Tailbone

Forum:

Hi Ladies,

Lately I have been getting a sore tailbone from sitting. I am confident I have the WW posture down when sitting as my bulges etc move up a fair bit when sitting. However, am I perhaps too far back on my sit bones now? I used to be a bit scared to sit properly and lean forward too much. I am on the floor a lot now. Soft surfaces make it more sore as in sitting on the bed or a cushion so when I can I am using the floor.

Awake, thou wintry earth

Last night where I live, it snowed yet again. I long for warmer days and this poem really spoke to me this morning:

Awake, thou wintry earth-
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!

Post hysterectomy - another prolapse

Due to a cystocele I was advised to have a hysterectomy. My surgery was performed on Nov. 17th, 2014 in the states. I did not know that there were any alternatives. Now over 4 months later I have experienced another prolapse. My husband and I are missionaries in Uganda, E. Africa and there is no Dr. here that would be able to advise me as to what kind of a prolapse it is. I would like to know which one of the exercise DVD's would be most beneficial for me. I do not want to have to go through another surgery. We are not scheduled to return to the states until Jan. of 2016.

Some advice and help needed!

Hi there

Misdiagnosed? More confused than ever

Ladies... I'm soooo confused. Just came back from a urogynocologist who did a pelvic exam and said I 100% do not have any kind of prolapse. I asked a million times if she was sure - she is a specialist at Columbia in pelvic organ prolapse.

She said I do have an extremely tight pelvic floor and pelvic floor dysfunction ("it's spasming like crazy in there and you have lots of knots") and that PFD can present with symptoms that feel like/mimic prolapse. She recommended physical therapy as the course of action.

Urethral Diverticulum - anyone else?

Hello!

I am new to the WW forums and have been so inspired by the amazing women here taking their health into their hands and triumphing over these crazy changes that can happen with our bodies.

My first POP poop (a.k.a. Small Victories)

Breakthrough!

Just wanted to share a small celebration with you all - tonight I had the FIRST NORMAL SOLID bowel movement in over 1 MONTH since all my POP symptoms started happening!! *happy dance*

Week over agonizing week, I could just. not. get. anything. through (besides liquid mucous), to the point where I was in the ER thinking I had life-threatening fecal impaction.

New Here...

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I hope so because I'm looking for help! I'm thinking I have a prolapse but my doctor's appointment isn't until Wednesday and I'm looking for advice on questions for the doctor.

About me: I'm 37 years old, never had children, always had a moderate flow period that was extremely regular (every 26 days, lasts for 4 days) and have pretty bad, but manageable cramps the first two days. Because of personal issues, I don't visit the gyno as much as I should (have only 3 times in fact) but had an event that caused me to go recently.

Goddess Belly DVD

Forum:

I've watched this once and done it once. I must say that keeping the tongue on the roof of the mouth and eyebrows up at the ends was tricky for me to do and remember and to do. Could any of your share your experiences with those techniques, and with the DVD in general.....the practice, and any results you've noticed.
