bladder med withdrawal

I decided to ditch the Detrol. Maybe I should have done so "under medical supervision." Cold turkey technique (I just stopped taking it) gave me a headache and the shakes. It felt something like altitude sickness. Since I was driving through mountain passes a lot last week, it didn't occur to me till a couple days into it that it might be Detrol withdrawal. Only one day's mountain driving was anywhere near high enough to cause altitude symptoms.

Standing and Walking seem to create discomfort with pop for me

I admit, I have not been consistent with all that I know and continue to learn to naturally shift the uterine prolapse I've been aware of since Feb. '09. I'm doing a lot tho. Every a.m., once I'm up and about, it seems within 10-15 min. in kitchen or wherever, my uterus starts slipping down. Walking and lifting lt. wts. a few days ago sure effected everything the whole next day. Darn!

I think I did this to myself

I lifted heavy things throughout my pregnancy, had a job in which I was on my feet all day...

TV

Well, here we are.

Yesterday I was listening to a radio program on community radio from the States called Democracy Now(?). There was an interview with a guy who died only a couple of years ago, hero of the pacifism and folk music scenes, who fought in the Korean War and came back an angry mess. A priest who was running the guest house he was living in got sick of him damaging the property and told him in no uncertain terms that he needed to become a pacifist, so he did.

normal anatomy vs. prolapse

Hey ladies,
I don't really know where to post this question, so I'll just post it here! In normal anatomy(whatever that means) are there any changes in the vagina when the bladder or rectum are full? The reason I ask is that I have a lump in my abdomen that shows up with gas. It isn't a hernia. Apparently, because I am very thin, it is easy to see activity in my digestion. So, if you can see gas in your belly, it seems logical that when there is gas in your rectum it may cause a little distention on the back wall of vagina. Is that possible?

Nursing and Uterine Prolapse?

Quick question, I read somewhere that 6 months after stopping breast feeding all the hormones that make the ligaments stretch are back to normal and you can get a better idea of how bad your prolapse is. Is this true? Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced this?

Thank you!

Is PP POP more common than it used to be?

I've been pondering this for a while. I had my babies 22 and 18 years ago and knew loads of other mums, we had very frank conversations about all sorts of things and I never met a single one with a prolapse. Mine didn't become symptomatic until 8 years after the last birth and I think that Pilates (and possibly over-done Buteyko breathing) had something to do with that.

Can prolapse effect getting pregnant again?

I have Rectocele and Cystocele 3rd degree, and I want to have another baby before I have surgery (I would rather not have surgery, but realisticly I'm pretty sure I need it) to fix it, and while I have insurance, plus I hear your most fertile the first few months after birth (I have fertility issues so if I wait too long I'll need fertlity meds).

Why is it so upsetting

I want to pose a question. Why is it so emotionally devastating to find POP? I remember being so upset after I discovered mine (now it doesn't bother me at all). What do you think?

scared to have sex

Hi Ladies! I am 6weeks pp and my uterus is prolapsed. I noticed the buldge during my 3rd pregnancy. I really believe constant constipation(even when not pregnant) is what caused this for me. Anyways I'm emotionally torn apart about all of this. I am extremely afraid to have sex with my husband now. My question is will it hurt?
