COLPEXIN SPHERE - Is Your Gynecologist REALLY Looking After Your Health?

A new era of women’s health is dawning. In this new age women will have access to technological imagery that allows them to clearly see the placement of their pelvic organs in standing posture.

Indeed, Dr. Lauri Romanzi tells us that day has already arrived: “You may be pleased to learn that much of contemporary anatomic renderings are indeed based on vertical imaging of living women using high-def sonography and dynamic MRI.”

Will it really get better?

Today I am 3 weeks postpartum. A few days ago I went to the doctor because I noticed a bulge and I am frequently having to urinate with little exiting. My doctor said that I have a grade 2 cystocele, or bladder prolapse. He said I can try exercises and a physical therapist but eventually I will need surgery and the prolapse will probably get worse with time.

period is back with a vengance!!!

just got my period back after 11 months postpartum......this is not good not good at all!! I had no cramps or heaviness before it started it totally took me by surprised and even after i started bleeding i felt perfectly normal but then once I started getting ready for the day and was on my feet for probaly only 20 min the heaviness began...and it radiates all the way through my lower body!! it hurts so bad when I stand up even in posture....will this get better after the first few days of my period or is it like this the whole time?

Question for Workoutmommy

Hi workoutmommy! I am so glad to read that things are going a bit better for you. I am curious about the use of a pessary for exercise. I am just fine throughout the day, but when I have tried to jog even a short distance it just feels weird! Not like things are going to drop out, but maybe like things are bouncing up and down? I also wonder how much of this is mental... Anyway, is this working well for you? Does it make you less worried that you are making your prolapse worse? I would love to be able to work out and not worry!

Thanks,
mzimm

Has anyone chosen NOT to get pregnant again after prolapse diagnosis

Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, and have a question for anyone who has been diagnosed with prolapse and is considering whether or not to get pregnant again.

First of all, THANKS to Christine as well as everyone spending time on the posts. Christine's book has been my saving grace during a very difficult time. I'm 31 yrs old and was diagnosed with prolapse of the bladder (mild-mod), uterus (mild-mod) and rectum (mod) about six weeks ago. My son is 13 months old, and my husband and I were just about to start trying for our second when I got diagnosed.

New and soooo confused...

Hi...wow thank God I found this website...I find it so difficult to get any straight answers... maybe this is the way!

Squatting Position

Hi all!

For the life of me, I am not able to squat with my feet fully flat on the floor, while doing the cool down exercises.

Well today, I went for a walk without wearing my glasses, to take advantage of the sunshine, and relax for a bit with my cat and my dog. Yes, they walk together with me. When I raised my self to a standing position, low and behold, I was able to squat with both feet flat firmly planted within the sand that in this case was firm. That felt great!

Just wonder, did the sand give me some sort of flexibility?

Methinks yes :)

taichi & exercise

I recently retired & attend tai chi classes, which I love. The breathing technique is proving very beneficial. Does anyone else practise tai chi,& do you find it helpful?
Iam 64, & can sit crosslegged to attempt the workout. I say attempt, because I have trouble getting my knees flat enough to move my body correctly. Obviously I have never done yoga! Any suggestions would be welcome.
Victoria.

Concept2 rowing

I have got my own Concept2 rowing machine, but since discovering the bulge, I have felt scared to use it. I intuit that the combination of (slight) leaning back plus bracing the abs plus pushing with the feet and legs plus pulling with the arms all add up to a scenario which could make things worse. But I'd like to be sure before giving up rowing forever and selling my machine. Can anyone help?

Herbs for vaginal infection

Hi,

It's been so very long since I've been here! I gotta check back in this evening and see how everyone's doing.

But what brings me here today is because ages ago, probably even years ago, I posted a list of great herbs that clear vaginal thrush in a few hours (it was sent to me by a herb company that used to produce the mix of herbs and stopped). I can't find the recipe myself and could do with it today but googling my last posts don't seem to bring it up.

If anyone happened to have my recipe or know's how I can find all my old posts please let me know.

xx
