not a prolapse, loose down there.

O.K. i went to my O.B. today who said i did not have a prolapse, but i was loose and would probably have problems after menopause. Anyone else have this? Does Christine's book have exercises that will help tighten this? Or are plain old kegals and Posture the best way to fight this?
Thanks

Cord blood banking - buyer beware!

Hi All

You remember we were discussing the pros and cons of cord blood banking some time back?

I did some googling and came up with a scenario which sounded pretty horrifying in terms of the amount of foetal blood collected, when measured against the blood volume of the newborn, ie it sounded like the newborn was being robbed of placental and cord blood which would otherwise would have been pumped into the newborn by the contracting uterus compressing the placenta.

To What extent have you women found your prolapses have gotten better?

I am brand new. I Just found a bulge hanging out of me, yesterday. I will be seeing my OB/Gyno tomorrow, But i am pretty sure i have some sort of prolapse. I am trying to get all the information that I can about it. I have no pain, although i haven't had sex since i found the bulge. I am 33, and I have had only two pregnancies ( one was with twins about 14 months ago)I am interested in finding out if with the WW suggestions anyone has been able to reverse part or most their prolapses? Or have they just been able to lessen the symptoms?

When does the settling out stop?

Hi All

You know how we sometimes talk about the differences in how our POP's come about, and how they manifested?

Mine happened almost imperceptably for about fifteen years, then suddenly, during a period of asthma/bronchitis that went on for several years, they all descended quite quickly and demanded my attention.

Then there was a period of feeling kind of full and lop-sided in the vulva. I then found Wholewoman. I was finallyl able to resolve the asthma/bronchitis, but the POP's stayed, well-controlled by WW techniques.

Beaut Raw Foods Website

Hi All

Have a look at http://www.rawfoodexplained.com. It is almost solid links, and my computer security software put up a big red warning that it was a high risk site, probably because of all the links. I was trawling it for hours yesterday and my computer hasn't gone into a coma yet. View at your own risk. You can buy all the content as an e-book (.pdf) and/or a hard copy book. I think I might just do that.

Suggestions on whether to go to an m.d. due to experiencing a new/different kind of discomfort in pelvis.?

Hi all. I'm concerned due to more cramping pain/pressure and almost like burning in my vaginal area - I'm really adjusting my diet and walking more. Pop seems worse if I stand for really any length of time. I've got a vacation to Alaska in 3 weeks which I'm excited about - and yet, I'm wondering if it would be good to see an ob/gyn.before I go.?

Too Late for Me?

Hello!

I’m surprised and delighted to have found this site and will apologize in advance for a post that might end up being pretty long. Not sure where it belongs but I think probably in the “pregnancy” section since that’s where my problems likely started, but it might have been long before. I remember being in my early 20s and being told I had a tilted uterus, but that it was ‘not a big deal’. Also, my grandmother and aunt both had severe prolapse issues. I do know that my pregnancies brought to full bloom whatever problematic seeds I may have had originally.

Postpartum prolapse??

Hi All

I have been bothered recently that there are so many women only a few weeks postpartum who are posting that they are desperately worried about their postpartum prolapse. Why is this? It has to be because they have had that worry planted by somebody.

A worrisome trend...
