I really need some advice

I don't know what to do with myself anymore, please can someone give me some advice.

My daughter (my second baby) was born 8 months ago in March and i've been in pain ever since that day. About 2 weeks after she was born I gradually got this worsening pain inside my vagina on the left side (sorry if this is really graphic!!). So I thought I had a cut or tear or something and decided to check it. Then I found a lump, and after seeing a doctor she said it was just my cervix being low down and it would go back up.

Vaginal Varicose Veins or Urethrocele???

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and I'm seeking any advice you might have. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. When I was 16-17 weeks pregnant, I had that feeling that something was falling out, and noticed something protruding out of my vagina. I had my doctor look at it, and he told me it was a varicose vein. I also had lots of pelvic pressure, bladder discomfort etc. I've been doing everything to alleviate the discomfort i.e. compression support, swimming, belly band, frequent rest breaks with some relief. I recently went to my first appt.

Help - I need a comfortable bra

I would love to make my own clothing following Christine's guidelines, but with two small children it would be impossible to find the time at the moment. I am having trouble finding comfortable clothing. I can't stand having anything tight around my torso (jeans, pantyhose) as it feels as if my insides are being pushed out. I also find wearing a "properly" fitted bra unbearable. I get chronic heartburn and neck and shoulder pain. I feel as if I can't breathe. I'm wearing oversized maternity bras at the moment. This is not a sexy look!

Question about something wanting to come out down there feeling

I haven't been diagnosed officially yet with prolapse. I will see my OBgyn next week. Besides the lump i see i get the heavy feeling down there sometimes and like something wants to come out...like the tampon inserted wrong feeling. I mostly get it if i've been walking for a long while, sometimes even standing a long time. But it doesn't last long sometimes and goes away...sometimes lasts longer. I was wondering if that feeling is associated with uterine prolapse or could it be with any of the prolapses...thanks...and do you get that feeling too?

Alemama...question about the plank

I read in another post that you like to do the plank for exercising your abs. I was wondering how long you hold in that position for. I tried it just now and it was tiring, lol.

Has anyone ever heard of this? (RE prolapse totally gone after 1 month post partum)

I was talking to my mother in law yesterday about my possible prolapse. She said that back when she was in Vietnam and gave birth to her second child, her uterus came down. Her mother told her to make a certain soup to drink. After 1 month and drinking the soup 2 times, her uterus went back up for good. She had 4 more babies after that...my husband the youngest one and never had any prolapse issues again. She didn't kegel and lifted heavy things throughout and after all her pregnancies. She often worked, cooked, etc. with a child on her back.

been seen by consultant!

I saw a consultant yesterday who confirmed i have a 1st degree cervical decent, i was told practically everything i already knew from reading into the subject. i would like to try and stabilise things before we get pregnant again, so i have some chance of the 1st degree not becoming 2nd degree after another baby. what is the best course of action? is firebreathing going to do the trick? i get a bit worried as when i do it i can get some aching and my anxiety around this whole thing is only just starting to subside!

How does a normal vagina look like?

I am anxiously waiting for my app't on Tue with my OB. In the meantime i can't figure out what kind of prolapse i have and even what and how a normal vagina is suppose to look like. I don't remember how my vagina looked like before i had my vaginal birth. What i assumed was normal the past many months, now i'm not sure if it's a cystocele staring at me straight in the face without me realizing it. I'm not sure if the lump i thought is suppose to be there is really a bladder prolapse now.

Self examination?

I have read and tried to do self examinations but in the article it says what a stage 2 would feel like but could someone tell me what a stage 1 would be like, as to be honest I don’t know how it felt before to compare it. How would my cervix feel or would I not be able to feel it at all if there was nothing wrong ? Is this in the book? I’m in the UK is there anywhere I can buy it over here or do I have to order it on line? and how long would it take? Sorry so many question but I really need to know this for myself now as I don’t think I can trust theses doctors.

bed rest during pregnancy?

So its looking like I may end up on bedrest in the second trimester to try and avoid making my rectal prolapse worse. It also looks like I have an intussusception instead of mucosal lining prolapse (waaah). It kind of makes sense to me, seeing as being upright and having a heavy and growing uterus could weigh down my rectum, and all the relaxin will make everything even more lax. Anyone ever heard of this? Thoughts?
