Another diagnoses and even more questions!

I don’t know if you’re read my previous posts but first I was diagnosed by my doctor with a virginal cyst. I went to the hospital where the gyno said it was in fact a bladder prolapse. I went back to my doctor who looked again and said she still thought it was a cyst but started to doubt herself, so she suggested I have a ultascan, when I did first time nothing could be found everything looked normal, then they asked me to be rescanned again to be sure, went back still nothing could be found.
So I wanted another option.

Angry with POP

Sorry this is going to be a bit of a "poor me" post, but I am trying my utmost to not let this get me down, but every single day I feel the effects of my post-partum POPs. I also have a "unstable pelvis" so I get a lot of associated pain with that as well, although that is slowly improving, with less bad days as the months go by.

Bladder control meds

Hello,

I was wondering who among us has had any experience with OAB (over active bladder) medications such as Detrol. My doc wants me to try it. I have a cystocele. I told him I didn't think it would help, as my problem is basically structural. He said the drug would relax, or reduce the "tone" of, the bladder muscle, and keep it from firing randomly. He also said it could take a month for it to have its full effect.

Too late???

Hi all,

I had my baby 20 months ago. My little boy got stuck so i was taken into surgery for an assisted delivery (forceps and episiotomy (sp?)) My baby was pulled out with more force than i can describe. At 3 months pp i remember a feeling of something slipping but i started doing kegels and this stopped. Anyway on examining myself now my cervix seems very low. So i think i have a mild uterine prolapse my doctor doesn't seem too concerned but i wonder could i have rectified this earlier if i'd been aware of it?

We hope to start trying for baby no 2 in the next few months.

Hi ladies

That post

Hi All

It is kinda weird that a television show that we are assuming is not reputable has visited the Forums and left a calling card that doesn't say much, and is not what we are really interested in.

We may have made an unfair judgement, but I smell fish too and it is not fresh fish. By posting this in a new topic I hope we can move discussion away from something that looks dodgy and have a look at the effect it had on us.

It's like having a teenagers' magazine run an article on how bad pimples can lead to suicide, or a funeral director advertising outside an old people's home.

Medical series keen to help women with prolapse

Hi all

I work for a production company currently producing a UK based medical series for Channel 4. We are looking for people with various conditions to take part in the programme and are keen to feature a prolapse as it's such an important and common problem amongst women.

A Quick Hello, glad I have found this forum :-)

Thought I would introduce myself first :) and what has happened.
