Incontinence

I have a question about incontinence...

I find myself leaking urine at certain times. Like, after a warm bath...if I stand up I leak! I'm not sure if its because I relax in the tub, or if its the water...makes me wonder if I'll be leaking in pools.
Also, I was sick yesterday, (tmi) vomitting, thank goodness my boyfriend was at work, I was throwing up into the toilet and wet myself ALL over...and I had just cleaned the bathroom! (I was none too happy)

Wouldn't it be nice ...

... if we all lived closer to each other and could meet up. Someone in the same sitation to go walking with and to talk face to face with. I feel very alone in my neck of the woods with this. I know its not life threatening but I almost wish there were support groups for this sort of thing. Its a very hard thing to deal with emotionally. I know doctors brush it off saying its not so bad and can't understand what all the fuss is about but one can really feel isolated.

I'm just rambling.

Glad to have found this site - I have a cystocele & rectocele

What a wonderful site. I am a 43 yr. old who had 2 normal vaginal deliveries in the 90's. Suddenly last Sunday I noticed the cystocele. I got up, went to the bathroom, and felt something down there. I thought at first that it was a piece of toilet paper stuck, but took a look with the hand mirror and was very surprised to see a bit of my bladder. So I tried pushing it back in, and it just slipped down again. Wonderful. And then later in the day at the usual time ( I have ALWAYS been very regular with my bowel movements ) went and even though I was straining, nothing was happening.

exercise equiptment???

hi, i just thought id mention something i bought a while ago, its a piece of electrical equiptment and its meant to exercise the vaginal muscles, roughly 100 times better than doing them yourself, wondered if anyone else had tried it? i find it good but find it hard to fit it in my day, normally have to do it at bed time! i ordered the book yesterday cant wait to start reading it, so crious about the posture and firebreathing!

Help! Air trapped in urethra, keeps popping out!

Hi, there, this is my second post. I'm very glad to have found this forum, particularly as I feel I was probably headed for a hysterectomy (recently diagnosed with fibroids, extremely heavy menstrual bleeding). Boy, has this forum caused me to rethink! Never realized the uterus played such a role in keeping your "stuff" stable. Makes perfect sense, though.

new - trying posture - feel like I'm gaping!

Hi, there, this is my first post on this site. I have ordered the book, but in the meantime am trying to figure out this posture thing. As I sit on my chair at work, I try to relax my shoulders, raise my ribcage - but the problem comes with that belly/tailbone thing. I am an apple body shape, so I have a poochy tummy to begin with. If I am reading the instructions correctly, I'm supposed to be just totally letting my belly go - not tensing the muscles at all - and pushing my tailbone slightly outward.

Experiment - ATS

I have decided to experiment with eating less wheat to see if it helps. So yesterday I had a sandwich with Ezekial bread instead because someone said that is the only kind she can eat without it affecting her prolapse. So I went to the organic section and got some. I have to say that I didn't have that bloated/heavy feeling after lunch like usual. I had wheat for supper with our homemade pizzas but I am going to try to slowly cut it back to see. I have this nagging feeling that it will help but it is hard because I am already off of dairy with my baby's sensitivity.
