I'm worrying again

I have just been reading information about prolapse again on the internet. Haven't done that for awhile but have just been feeling low again and started looking. Anyway, it states that up to 50% of women who have delivered vaginally will have some degree of prolapse but then goes on to say that 1 in every 10 women will have prolapse. Surely if up to 50% have it then it should be 5 in 10?

How do I purchase a baton?

I've looked everywhere on the site and cannot figure out where to purchase the baton. I'm also wondering if there is a DVD besides the "First Aid" one that has all the excercises shown in "SAving the Whole Woman 2nd Ed"?? Any help would be great. Take good care.

I am in Hell- how do you all do it?

Return of AF this morning (first time since I got pregnant 5 years and 10 months ago)and I don't even want to stand up. My belly is crampy and I ache and ache- from my uterus all the way down my legs. Next time I ovulate I am getting pregnant damn it - I can't take this every month.
I feel like crap.
So how long does this normally last? The entire time or does it ease off or will it get worse when my flow get heavier? Please don't say it gets worse.

Problems...again

Hi Ladies..I haven't posted in a long time, as my prolapse has not been a problem..until now. Now when standing or walking for long periods I can feel my bladder bulging thru my vagina and even outside a little. Very annoying. I have a pessary that I haven't used in two years and am now back to wearing it, when I know I am going to be on my feet. I hate using it..but have little choice. Hopefully I can up the amount of kegels and reverse this problem once again. As two years ago I was really bulging and wore the pessary 24/7.

Cervix at 12 oclock?

I went for a smear half an hour ago.

The woman said 'In case you need to know your cervix is at 12 oclock in case they are looking for it'

????????????????????????????????????

Anyone know if this is relevant to prolapse?
Or what other than knowing where it is located - This holds relevance to?

Weird...

To pessary users....

For the first time I tried Bliss balm for pessary insertion... AND removal. Gotta say it made a world of difference. The painful feel was MUCH reduced. Don't know why but it works much better than the water based lubes. Can't say enough good stuff about that stuff. I know it is expensive but I HIGHLY recommend the balm; it's worth it.

I just wondered if you were still around as we haven't heard from you in about 6 weeks. Is everything o.k.?

christine's book

hi all,
found the book on amazon last night (new used) for under $10 and ordered it-but now I realize that the newer version may be more useful? Does anybody know? I wonder if I should try to cancel this order....?

Louise is camping in paradise again

Hi All,

Thought I'd let you know that our fabulous Louise and dh have left their glorious sheep farm (and heavenly garden!) to join other agricultural friends in the area for their yearly campout on the coast of Western Australia. She will be back in ten days or so. It sounds like pure paradise...climbing out of their king-size camping bed (who else but Louise?) to meet the outback bakery truck delivering fresh goods to go with their morning coffee. Sigh.

She is always greatly missed, but I wish for her a completely extraordinary vacation.

Christine
