Thank you PHENOMENAL WOMEN

Hi Ladies,

I've been asking a lot of questions in the last couple of days (not to mention shadowing the forums for the last 3 weeks) and you all have been so wonderful in sharing and your warmth and love so I would just like to say thank you, thank you, thank you! I was a dance major in college and in the recent days, find myself remembering a poem I once did a movement piece to back then (which I think my mind started remembering once I started practicing the Whole Woman posture). So I'm sharing it with you all- it's worth reading out loud if you are so inclined.

All ladies with young ones!

O.k. ladies this is off topic but I have to ask - what on earth do you do with a toddler (18 months) that refuses to keep her nappy (diaper) on? It does not matter what clothes I put on her she manages to get it off and no sooner is it off then she piddles on the floor and on two occasions poo'd - yuck!

She finds this hilarious and thinks it is a game and I am at my wits end as to what to do. She is too young to potty train yet.

My 6 year old is horrified! :o)

A

Posture and PT visit

Okay, this latest Physiotherapist visit has confused me.
We had an interesting conversation re the posture and she is definitely openminded and I have given her the Wholewoman book to read.

What sling do you recommend?

Okay there has been a lot of talk about slings/wraps and I would really like your help for the kind of sling I want to get. I have a moby wrap but it is really stretchy and I find no matter how high I put it, it pulls down too much in the front and isn't comfortable with the prolapse. I want one with more support and that is comfortable to wear plus easy to handle. Thanks!

Help with baby wearing and other questions

Hi Ladies,

I'd really love any advice on baby wearing....I've searched the site but didn't find what I was looking for...
Any suggestions on the posture, how long can I baby wear, baby weight, etc? Basically what adjustments do I need to make to be able to do this? Anything to avoid?

Also, are you all doing more of the workout on the DVD or the ballet one? Daily?

Do those of you who have tile in your homes go barefoot? I find it hard on my body...

Celiac and soft poo??

I've had the flu for the past 4 days which is awful in it's self, but the rectocele is driving me the most nuts, I seriously don't think it's ever been this bad. The coughing has been intense and the rectocele is definitely bothered by everything.

I have been reading about Celiac disease lately and have been wondering if the endless soft poo(which seems to bother the rectocele the most)is a symptom of Celiac. But, I sometimes get a little constipated along with the once in a while regular poo.

lovely seeing so many of you here at once

I find myself reading your posts in bits and pieces...and wanting to respond to so many of them...but never having the time to read all of the posts and not wanting to be repetitive(what others might have already responded)
But lovely to come on and see so many of you here and wanting you all to know that though I am not saying much...I am enjoying getting to know you all a bit and feeling the connection...

Firebreathing again

Hi All

I need some help on Firebreathing again as I have realised that I may be doing it wrong after all this time! On the exhalation breath when you contract your abdominal muscles and glutes, I have also been straightening my knees. Should your knees stay perfectly still, bent but still?

Thanks for your help! I haven't been doing exercise for a while what with general illness in our family and the festivities of Christmas and I want to start up again but make sure that I am doing them correctly.
