Conception and Where to begin with WW

I have a cystocele and a minor/early uterine prolapse. I'm 28 and my husband and I will be trying to conceive for the first time this year!

I have been doing WW posture for the last few months, but I haven't done any work besides this. Where should I start? What dvd/exercises should I do before conceiving? AND how should that change during pregnancy?

Is there any other advice you would give (or purchases you would recommend) for pre-conception AND during pregnancy?

Excited and SOOO nervous.

Great 2016 WW Conference!

Forum:

Hello WW!

Just want to let you all know that the 2016 WW Conference went splendidly. We had a lovely group of women this year who all commented that the conference exceeded their expectations. The tram ride was lots of fun as usual, and we all made wonderful new friends. The word is getting out, as we had many professionals this year, who were keenly interested in learning more about WW concepts and principles.

Our new WW Practitioners are excellent, and I feel such excitement and optimism as we take WW into the future.

Congrats new practitioners!

Congratulations and lots of love to Christine, Lanny and the new Whole Woman practitioners who will be graduating tonight in Albuquerque as the conference gets underway. To see this network growing, is more exciting to me than words can express. Let's cover the globe with this knowledge and wisdom. - Surviving

Feeling hopeful - Rectocele after pregnancy

Hi All,

I cried a lot yesterday. Today, I feel hopeful, encouraged even.

I had just returned from the PT and realized that the 6 weeks of work I'd been doing post-pregnancy to work on the rectocele weren't helping much, if anything, I felt like it was getting worse. I had to splint for the first time when going to the bathroom, and for some reason, I found this fact utterly devastating. Maybe it was just a very physical demonstration that things were out of whack - and my little heart feared that they always would be.

Back and Hip Issues

Yesterday, I introduced myself on a forum that was displayed when I initially registered. I should have studied the navigational tabs before I listed my post. I wanted to say how excited I was to find the Whole Woman Forum a couple of days ago when I was searching on the internet for solutions to my back and hip issues. I recently experienced my left hip and leg giving away when I was out running errands. I was so shocked, that I immediately came home and started researching answers to my problem.

Got hooked on pelvic rocks

As I started the First Aid for Prolapse - beginning workout part one and two, I like the pelvic rocks so much so that I have been doing it at my dinner table, desk, in front of my computer ... it feels good. I wonder if this is OK, am I overdoing it? will it hurt anything? just wondering.

What is the ONE thing that helps you most

Hi everyone,

Pregnant with prolapse

Hi it has recently become apparent that I have some degree (grade 1-2) of prolapse, possible cyst and rect. My lg turned 2 last week and I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second. I feel embarrassed that I didn't realise sooner: my periods returned after 10 months and I had a heavier flow than before and issues keeping tampons in. I thought it was just post baby normality. Then I switched to a menstrual cup - and in some aspects it was amazing and in others it highlighted the issue: when I wore my daughter in the sling/sitting in certain positions it would come right down.
