Bladder and rectum prolapses at 27

Hi everyone! I’m new here. I was diagnosed with lupus 3 years ago and since then I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, hypothyroidism, colitis, and now bladder and rectum prolapses. Out of all my diagnoses, this one seems to bother me the most. I’m only 27 years old and already have a grade 2 prolapse. The pelvic surgeon specialist said surgery is not an option at this point, due to my medical history, and I have been fitted for a pessary.

Smelly Discharge :(

Hello Everyone.....I've been reading everything I can on prolapse. It can be overwhelming sometimes. I've noticed lately that I have a smelly discharge and I haven't had one of those in years. I'm 58 and already thru menopause or maybe I'm still in it......it was never that bad for me. But just wondering if the honey would help this or if anyone else has suggestions I would truly appreciate it. Thanks :)

Is laying down bad?

I have seen a few posts alluding to laying down being bad for prolapse and rectoceles and am seeking clarity. Is it? If so, why?

Pelvic Floor Dyssynergia

I was wondering if anyone suffers from or has any experience of Pelvic Floor Dyssynergia?

I'm suffering from it and it is hugely frustrating - basically I get the urge to go, but when I actually try to have a bowel movement, the muscles don't coordinate properly (my bowel tries to push, whilst my bottom muscles tightly close).

Questions from First Aid for prolapse workout

Forum:

I have been doing the work out daily in addition to my posture walks. I’m three days into this and I’m getting stronger. The work out isn’t wimpy! And I have some clear weaknesses! I’m so grateful to have this straight forward work out to my avail, and The explanations and guidance given throughout are very reassuring and helpful.

New w/questions

Hi everyone.....I'm new on here. But so glad I found you ladies. Was diagnosed rectocele, cystocele prolapse a couple years ago. It was the hardest thing to hear......my insides were coming out!! I didn't even want to tell my husband but I did and he was supportive even though he had no idea what I was dealing with. My doctor sent me to a PT that deals with women's health issues and mostly prolapse issues. It did help to hear stories of others that were younger than me (I'm 58) that were dealing with this too.

Success after set back

I had a set back last month. I had been sitting without full lumbar curvature a lot. I thought I was doing well because I was sitting on the floor a lot, but I wasn’t sitting on a cushion and was not able to get a full lumbar curvature. I was very fatigued and unwell last month because of stress and overwork. I spent a lot of time lying down too. I gave up my daily posture walks. So many of my symptoms started to return. I immediately started floor sitting using a yoga bolster as a thick cushion and added a pillow to my chair so as to tip me forward a bit so I could sit in posture better.

Using Honey still got a UTI

I have been using honey for uti's for about six weeks a little dab a day. Been using manuka honey. Yesterday I was on fire. I tried the vinegar and water and was still burning. I went to the clinic and the doctor said i had a 50-50 chance of a uti. The lukelytes were positive. Sending it out for a culture. She gave me antibiotics and a yeast tablet. I came home and used some antifungal cream and the burning subsided. How long does it take for the honey to work.Does anyone have any suggestions. I have been getting frequent utis since menopause. Thank you

The third wheel

Forum:

Hi ladies, I have the first and second wheel yoga dvds but I would like to buy the third wheel and can only find it as part of a bundle. Is it possible to buy it separately? Many thanks!

Babies after prolapse

My husband and I have a 13 month old, we adore him so much! Unfortunately, I now have a cystocele...grading varies but at its worse I have bulging itch heaviness (grade 3?). So frustrating to have to deal with this at the age of 30 already, some days are harder than others to mentally deal with it. I try to practice WW posture as my “norm.” I am getting back in to exercise and have started learning what I can and cannot do. I would ultimately like to be able to run again (short distance, 1-2 miles) but our FIRST goal is to have another child.
