Is it important to know what is prolapsing?

It's been several months since I discovered that I had a prolapse and began the Whole Woman posture, exercises, etc. I have not been to a doctor to get an official diagnosis to know for sure what is causing the bulge and discomfort, though I suspect it is bladder. I assume the Whole Woman treatment is the same, regardless, is that correct?

Vaginal Pain....possible prolapse. Desperate!!

Hi everyone! I am new here and desperate for some support, advice and/or answers to what is going on with me. I am 39 and a first time mom that is 7 weeks postpartum this Wednesday but noticed my symptoms about 2.5 weeks ago. A little bit about my birth story......I gave birth to a 9lb 4oz baby boy and it was a very horrible delivery. I pushed for 3hrs and lost a lot of blood so I received a blood transfusion. It was pretty traumatic and I was definitely scared for my life.

What kind of bike?

Forum:

Hi, now that summer is near, I would like to bike outside with my kids. I saw the video with Christine biking and I want to purchase a bike where I can sit in the right posture. I have searched the forums and can't find any recommendations for bike brands. I live in Canada and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good bike and also what is a good seat that would be comfortable?
Thank you.

Avoiding UTI with cystocele

I've been seen at the doctor and definitively have a UTI. I was practicing WW potty posture by half squatting as well as urinating on all fours in the shower, but I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong. When half squatting, I feel like I am holding on to the urine some and it takes effort to 'let down' (sorry can't find another term) in order to go. In the shower I feel like I have to 'push' it out forcefully. Wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if there is another tried and true position in order to fully vacate my bladder so I can clear this UTI up and prevent them from coming back.

Cystocele

Hi ladies..
I'm stuck and I don't know what to do, I'm sick of being in pain and discomfort every day.
So 11.5 weeks ago I had my 3rd baby (2nd vaginal birth, 2nd bub was an emergency cs).

25 with pelvic organ prolapse

Hello everyone I am ChevyGoal and I am 25 years old. I have no history of pregnancy but do have chronic constipation since I was a child. I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 prolapses of my uterus, bladder and rectum. Every time I walk I have pressure and pain in my bladder. I am wondering what I can do to relieve the pressure on my bladder, other than sitting and lying down. I also have another prolapse question that I cannot seem to figure out. I have been having trouble emptying my rectum. If I don’t completely empty during a bowel movement, my bladder will feel like it is on fire.

Birth poitions

Hi ladies,
I wonder what you think here about birth positions.

I saw here a while ago that Christine wrote that women experienced some problems after pushing in the squatting position. Would be happy to hear more about it please...

What about pushing on one's side? I learned that it allows the sacrum to move freely and creates more room for the baby.

One of my students complained about hip pain that started after she gave birth, in the side she was lying on while pushing.

SI Joint Pain

Forum:

Hi ladies. I feel like I must be doing something wrong! I am dedicated to the posture and it helps my prolapse so much but I now have SI Joint Pain. Stretching alleviates it a bit but really it bothers me every day. Is this normal? Any tips? I'm worried I'm going to do myself some damage and have to stop and I really don't want to as the benefits still massively outweigh this pain but I don't know how much longer this will be the case.

Dryness?

Hi Everyone......just wondering if staying moist in the vagina keeps the prolapse inside better? I know that sounds like a strange question but I've noticed when I'm dry the prolapse is out more and more bothersome. When I apply honey or Vitamin E the prolapse seems to go away and feel much better. Any ideas?
