Back on Forum - Pregnant!

Hello ladies,

I am back on the forum now that I have become pregnant with my 3rd - 12 weeks along. Whole Woman was such a huge help to me after developing a cyst/rect after my 2nd birth. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort for 1.5 years after the birth but by 2 years postpartum I was asymptomatic and still am most of the time! It took me a long time to master the posture but I have been exercising it ever since I started visiting the forum and I feel that it is second nature now.

Incontinence & Prolapse

Hello ladies,
I'm so glad that I can ask you on this forum and hear from my more experienced sisters.
Did you notice that incontinence diminishes with the First Aid Prolapse exercise bundle program or do you suggest to get the WW Solution to Incontinence? I live on a budget so I have to choose wisely what to order.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

prolapse cystocele

Hi everybody, I have recently joined and so pleased I have as there seems to be a wealth of information.I was recently diagnosed by my consultant that I have cystocele grade 1/2 and the anterior cervical lip is very prominent and he told me to carry on with my kegels(I don't think they help) but it is very likely I will need an operation. However, I don't want to and looking for ways to improve my prolapse and have come across the whole woman website. I recently bought the basic streaming video on the posture and tolieting which I am trying to use all the time now.

Thank You!!

Hi, I’m new here.

I’m so thrilled to have discovered the Whole Woman website.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with a prolapsed uterus and some degree of cystocele. I freaked out the day I discovered it. The prolapse was protruding through the opening of my vagina. I was terrified my whole uterus would fall out.

Exercise substitution in FAFP

Forum:

That one exercise in the FAFP exercise routine where you sit in a chair and place a pillow between your knees and raise the knees is very challenging for me in so many ways. I still can’t get good form and my vaginal discomfort in some times of the month makes it to where the whole exercise is not working for me in any of the chairs I have in my home. Is there a substitution exercise that I could do that would accomplish the same goals? Thank you very much for reading.

Long standing member's update

Update on my pelvic organ prolapse. I went to my doctor when I was 72 years old with a bulge in my vagina. She said I had cystocele and there was nothing she can do for me and sent me to 4 weeks of physical therapist (pt). The PT told me to do kegels but I knew it wasn't helping my problem so I quit and found Whole Women! I followed the Whole Women's posture, exercise and diet and lived with my cystocele for a couple of years and then I noticed a rectocele.

Driving with prolapse

Hello ladies, I'm new on the forum and I'm diagnosed with all 3 kinds of prolapse. I've started to watch the First Aid video and I do the exercises and postural changes.
I'm wondering if you have any suggestion for driving since the position in the car seat is exactly what we're not supposed to do: leaning back.
The same thing I noticed sleeping on my back, which is the opposite direction we're trying to move our inner organs towards. Sleeping on the belly seems to be the better choice but it's very uncomfortable for the neck.

Straining on the toilet

As mentioned a few weeks ago, I have a really frustrating problem called "Pelvic Floor Dyssynergia". It means I have long, frequent, **hugely** stressful and often unsuccessful attempts to move my bowels.

When the urge to go gets really bad I end up straining (including taking a deep breath and holding it whilst pushing) - it normally gets me some relief in the end - but I was wondering if anyone else has ever been in this position?

Emptying bladder

Hi ladies.
I'm just wondering what you all do to help empty your bladders. I've tried leaning as far forwards as I can and I think it helps sometimes but not all of the time. Is there anything else I can try?
Also how long after practicing the WW posture did you start to see progress on being able to empty your bladder properly? Straight away? Or did it take some time to be able to empty your bladder with ease?
