Help for Work and Dating

I just bought the fundamentals, the pelvic prolapse, and the book. I am a hairdresser with frequent uti's. I went and got the mona lisa touch treatments to help stop the utis and the menopause symptoms dryness. The doctor told me I have atrophy, a rectocele and one labia is bigger than the other, and tried to sell me some apparatus to put in my vagina to exercise it. I did not buy it. I am not getting any more mona lisa touch after finding your site. I went home and started research which took me to kegels. They seem to have made it worse, Idid not know it was there until now.

Ok to put bladder bulge back in?

My 81 year old mom is suffering with a recent prolapsed bladder that seems to have gotten worse since she has been going for physical therapy. Her pelvic floor physical therapist tells her to put her finger in her vaginal opening and push the bulge back in place. The therapist keeps her finger in mom's vaginal opening to make sure she is doing the exercise correctly which makes my mom feel sore internally. My mom also now has bleeding hemorrhoids. My mom's bladder is fine during the day but at night it wakes her up and her urine gushes out and she gets her nightgown wet even though she is weari

Rectocele / Straining

I'm not having a good day.

My constipation is awful I need to go and I can't. I'm to the point where I just want to sit on the toilet, ignore my rectocele, and strain for hours until I do.

Please everyone tell me that the straining is the stupidest thing I could do so I don't go and do it!

Probable Enterocele and chronic lower back pain

I'm new here, so sorry this is so long! But I could really use some advice. I'm 34, have no biological children, and have had no major surgeries. Over the past 4 years I've been through so many tests, medicines/supplements, doctors and other specialists, and different diagnoses.

mediolateral episiotomy

I've been wondering if anyone can describe possible risks/complications of a mediolateral episiotomy?

I've had 2 bad tears - no episiotomies - the last one went through my anal sphincter but I don't know how much or whether or not the internal sphincter was affected (i didn't even know there WAS an internal sphincter until I started reading about tears here).

Can I still wear jeans?

Forum:

Hi everyone,

I have recently been despairing of ever feeling in control of my body again, since increasingly returning to symptoms of urinary incontinence and prolapse following a pelvic floor 'repair' one year ago. When I googled 'kegel exercises not working' the Whole Woman site came up - thank goodness!!

Pregnant and scared

Hello everyone,I am a 26 year old SouthAfrican woman. This is my first time posting but I've been here for almost a year now.

Absolutely terrified, will I be normal again?

I went up and down the stairs of my house a few times on Wednesday and by the end of the day felt like my pelvic floor was loose, I thought I was just being paranoid. Thursday dining I felt fine and dint think twice of it. I moved a mattress, sliding it on he floor, without even thinking if that would affect my pelvic muscles, as I felt no straining elsewhere whilst I was moving it. Last night my prolapse was worse than ever, swollen and painful.

looking for advice on how best to prepare for next pregnancy with pop?

also I'm waiting impatiently for a new edition of the "saving the whole woman" book. Any news about the book?
